Staff were great but the rest of it was very dated and the breakfast just acceptable. Not for millennials as they’d probably freak out at the lack of choices, no oat milk, vegan or sourdough options. It was limited and the building like it’s not been redesigned since the 1970s but it was quirky and the shopping centre its in different to say the least. There was a Spoons in the shopping centre which was unique and a welcome discovery

Clean room. Nice shower Not a comfortable mattress The pillows were soft and flimsy No room service available Limited food and drink at bar Not even proper WiFi just a hotspot Reception is on the 10th floor which is just weird. Locked door and buzzer system which for a smoker is not Convenient I was on the 8th floor Even in the morning at mid day main entrance door was still locked. It’s near ek shopping Center which is a plus because facilities are nearby Parking is hard to find so check your emails because they send instructions. The prices at the bar were ridiculously priced £4 for a share bag of maltesers Relaxed check out I was not rushed and was able to take my time. Some tv channels didn’t work limited entertainment

This is a difficult hotel entrance to find despite the conspicuous tall buildings with the hotel logo We ended up at the coach/bus entrance and when enquired about how to access the hotel— the person was very rude and not helpful at all We finally found the parking lot no 2 and even then another struggle to actually find the entrance The shower was a hazard area— I fell and injured my elbow and my ankle I’m still limping Not even an apology from the hotel staff We ended up leaving Scotland that day This totally ruined our trip to UK as we came from Canada to spend a couple of weeks in Scotland

From the moment we walked in we notice a change in condition to the hotel cleanliness, check in was smooth and room on arrival was clean, except for the spoon with what looked like yoghurt dried on? Lift and entrance areas were not clean as was in past, Given a room nxt to exit which at first wasn't a problem but from 6am til 9am we got no sleep! Door constantly getting opened and closed people standing outside our room having conversations as they went in out door entrance to floor!! Breakfast wasn't nice! Bacon was hard black pudding like rubber only scrambled egg that was also like rubber! Staff stood on phone watching stuff, when i refilled my coffee i saw someone given boiled eggs? Was this an option?? Was a fried egg an option?? 1 tomato left! Chairs dirty, cutlery dirty, Wasnt a great experience, We have been coming to this hotel once to twice yearly for last 8 years and reason was clean and tidy and great staff! What has happened

Parking headache

Drove around the hotel 3 or 4 times looking to park at the hotel. I went into a service yard twice was not happy especially after a long drive.

Hotel clean confusing layout but lovely staff. Finding the car park to it is an absolute nightmare not well signed and satnav takes you to the back entrance. Was another car driving round in circles too to get to it.

The property was quiet in a good area with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. In a good location on top of a mall which gave us access to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops for breakfast and dinner on late nights. however the hotel was not easy to find with google maps or Apple Maps and we drove in circles endlessly until the point we had to call the hotel for directions and Rooms did not have a fridge also the only handed one key for the room which was also an issue as firstly you need the key to access your floor and the rooms need the key to run the electricity in the rooms so if one of us wanted to go out and the other wanted to stay in the room it wasn’t practical

Impossible to get to and not worth any of your tim

There is no entrance that you can access without going through some ancient close down mall. Vehicles taller than your chest have to go to a parking lot that is about 100 m away down a dark dingy path. Absolutely should be closed down. The room smelled like sewer, The hallways smell like combination of cologne and weed, The staff was condescending, And the neighborhood is a wreck. It neighbors a mall that is completely shut down. This is an absolute non-stay for anybody who has any designer for a nice stay.

Don’t stay here if you don’t like heights or lifts! The reception is on the top floor which is too high up to access with stairs. This isn’t made clear at all on the description. It’s also a very unusual layout been inside a shopping/business centre. Most of the doors were locked to get in and out of the building, finding a way out wasn’t easy then trying to get back in was a nightmare. Finding the front entrance was tricky on foot next to amin road with little signage. The car park was also not very easy to find upon arriving. The staff weren’t the most helpful, the receptionist didn’t care one bit that I wasn’t keen on the lifts and told me that were hundreds of stairs so they weren’t really an option which added to my panic about been on the 12th floor with no other way out. The breakfast staff told me to sit where I like then preceded to tell me not to sit where I had chosen! The breakfast was ok. Nothing great. The room however was lovely and very clean. I wouldn’t stay here agin based on its unusual location.
