Quiet, but lacks meal opportunities.

Lovely quiet setting with various farm animals in the back garden, but finding an evening meal can be a problem. We had left a message in the morning asking to eat in, but on arrival were told we had not given enough notice. We were directed very vaguely to a restaurant which was full because of a coach party. They sent us to another which was closed ( on a Friday evening!). They told us about another place, but as we were getting further and further away, we gave up and bought some food in a nearby village and ate in our room. Another guest had the same problem and managed with some beer and crisps! The place itself is O.K. but the meal situation makes it less attractive.
