I was stuck in the bathroom twice in four days. Could be better if maintained properly with more effort of cleaning the premise (e.g. top of shelves) Should pay more attention to cleanliness.

Property is well located, close to the harbour (but not too close), on a quiet corner. There are good restaurants and dive shop options all walkable. Overall, the property is a little run down, but has great potential. They were building a new pool. The room had a musty smell (particularly the bed), and air conditioning was not as effective as others we have enjoyed in Indonesia. The restaurant was frustrating at times- not bringing the bill when we asked for it (this happened more than once) and so, we stopped eating there.

7Seas Cottages are only a short walk away from the harbour which is great and a stone's throw away from some really great restaurants and the sunrise spot on the island. We were welcomed by friendly staff members but the room itself was quite dingy and dark and hadn't been fully cleaned when we arrived as there was rubbish in the bathroom. The room and terrace itself needed a lick of paint to freshen it up and the bed was unfortunately really uncomfortable. The WiFi was really poor too which meant we had to go to a coffee shop to do some work. The pool area was great though. Overall this place was really convenient and quiet and the staff were all lovely, I just feel that it needs a little make over to make it amazing and comfortable.

It’s a wooden cottage, full of insects, dirty net around the bed.Smell of mold inside of wardrobe and since it’s inside of the forest you can hear weird bird all night making weird sounds.I stayed 1 night And booked another hotel.Picture from Expedia is misleading and in reality it’s different story.

life is a beach

great place to stay, close enough to the dive shop without being on top of it. Great restaurants all around and only a five minute walk from the ferry pier. Would definitely stay again, it was clean, staff were great, nothing i needed that i couldnt get

Good location for boat dock and restaurants

Located a short walk from the boat dock within easy reach of a number of restaurants. Good pool although can be full of divers being trained. Good layout with you own private garden, massive bathroom and good air can. Will return here next time we are on Gili Air.

Pro: breakfast in the cabana on the beache and location near the harbor. Pool ok. Cons: old bungalow, dark. FOR FAMILIES: not what we expected as a family bungalow since the 2 rooms are separated and you need to get out to go from one room to the other. So with young kids it is impossible to do one room for the kids and let them sleep alone. when we arrive the air con what not working, they fix it. And there was no mosquito net on 2 beds/over 3 befs. They manage to put a net only on 2/3 beds. The staff was ok. For the money we have seen a lot better in Amed and Ubud but maybe for Gili Air it is ok? I personally would not recommend going there.

Very pleased

The dorm room was pleasnt and simple. It was also clam and the staff were very accommodating. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is looking for a relaxed cheap stay.

Good budget place

The staff was friendly, check in was easy, gave us towels for the beach, printed my boarding pass. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled funny and it would not go away. Overall a decent place to sleep - you get what you pay for.

Great staff but facilities are disappointing

When we arrived at our room, surprised that we had been located opposite the bar area despite requesting a quiet room. Facilities are very basic and were in poor condition. Our toilet didn't flush in the evenings!! The staff were very hard working and tried to make the room as nice as possible. The highlights of the hotel are nice pool, friendly and hard working staff and gorgeous view of the island and beach. Also, within walking distance from the harbour.

Gili Air was an amazing experience, great value for your money. It is older but it is still clean and cleaned daily. The staff are lovely and helpful, the location is great, the breakfast is delicious with amazing views. Again it is not one of the newer hotels but the deal we got on Hotel.com made our stay very worth it.

the location was just far enough away from the harbor to be calm and quiet but close enough to carry your bags. great snorkeling right in front of room. breakfast was great and good portions plus you can choose from several options. room was clean, staff was friendly. plus a gym?! wifi was spotty but way better than expected for a tiny island

Spacious and comfortable rooms with big bathrooms. Delightful staff who were extremely friendly. The Garden Cafe had a wide beachfront position with plenty of shade. WiFi was truly awful - virtually useless. 7 Seas Dive School which is part of the property is excellent.

great location

The location was ideal, we walked maybe 5 minutes from the boat dock. Very close to the beach, right on the main road. Really liked the open bathroom with the pretty plants growing in. The air conditioner didn't work very well most of the time which wasn't ideal and the room itself was very dark. We asked about the air conditioner and it improved a bit after that. Bungalow was cute, liked having a nice porch to sit on and the gated area around the room was nice for privacy. Plumbing worked well which wasn't always the case with some of our other Bali hotels!

Great hotel.

The 7 Seas cottages were perfect for me and my friend. The location was perfect; close but not next to the harbor, right on the beach and at close to all restaurants and shops. The staff was so friendly and personable. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel

We originally booked four nights here but loved it so much that we extended our stay to 8 nights. The hotel is right off the ocean and conveniently near the harbor. It was easy to find and near everything but away from the craziness. Our room was simple and clean with quite a large bathroom and shower. The included breakfast was one of the best I've had and the staff was very personable and great. I would stay forever if I could.
