This is our second time staying at this place and it’s very convenient for golfing. Highly suggest smash burgers at Nick’s across the street and we also ate at Whistling Bird. Both places had great food and service but make sure you have dinner before 8 otherwise choices are limited. We will return again.

Highs and challenges

Our stay was mostly positive. The owner was kind and quick to respond when we needed help finding the place and when we had questions about parking. Once inside it is cute, cozy, quiet, and quaint. Lots of seating and sleeping options.The table worked fine for us, but could be challenging if you want to have dinner with more than 4 people. The stairs were quite steep. Overall a good option for our hockey weeked:)

Cozy, Spacious, Just Perfect!!!

Our stay was WONDERFUL! Cozy, Spacious and JUST PERFECT! Comfortable beds, extra blankets, fully stocked kitchen utensils large TV, games to play! My family met here and had Thanksgiving together as my son was playing hockey nearby. Everyone had their own rooms, with gathering space to also be together. We all had an amazing time and just kept commenting on how perfect this place was for us! 10 out of 10 recommend and would stay again for sure (and probably will soon)! We ate at the Whistling Bird (twice) because it was sooo good!

Great stay in Gilbert!

We had a great stay at the Oar-asis in Gilbert. Lots of room, clean and comfortable. Loved having the coffee bar available in the morning. Convenient location to both Eveleth and Virginia. We were lucky enough to spot the Northern Lights from the back yard the last night of our stay.
