We loved the stay at Cedars Inn. The included breakfast at Tim Hortons was a surprise and perfect for picky kids, the pool was well maintained and the hot tub was a hit. We would definitely go back to Cedars Inn the next time we come to the Sunshine Coast.

Very nice clean Hotel

The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. I had to check-in late and it was a big hassle. Had to take pictures of credit card and drivers license and email it to them (not very safe). Download sign and return form. I've checked in late at many other hotels and they were much easier and less time consuming.

Great Size Rooms... however would have been nice to know that NO ELEVATORS on property. Numerous people were complaining about this. No Tables inside room to eat at. Went to ask front desk if they had any napkins and was handed a roll of toilet paper ???? EXTREMELY slow internet Great size Balcony however both Table and overall area of balcony were not clean. Slated Overhang Windows from Roof on our side of hotel were very dirty. Front desk clerk stated "oh those will be cleaned in the fall"??? Called down and asked for an extra roll of toilet paper "Come down and get it" was the response. ICE MAKER on 2nd floor - was told by several guests and even the cleaning staff shook their heads in positive mode about this ... VERY DIRTY and definitely not safe to use for cooler or drinks.

This property appears very run-down from the outside. It needs work, not very appealing at all. However, our room was spacious and clean, appeared to have been updated. Wifi was good. Parking was NOT close to our room, however. The pool area definitely needs some work. It is all enclosed, and need upkeep and painting. The deck where the hot tub is located was creaky, and the boards under foot seems loose. It didn't seem safe. This place has potential, but a lot of work needs to be done.

This is an older establishment but staff were nice and facilities clean. Great location with many different food options around the area and walkable distance (as long as you don't mind the mighty walk back up the steep hill lol) to Gibsons main tourist attraction area. Bonus it's not even 10 mins from Langdale ferry terminal.

Went beyond to accommodate special request. Huge clean room in process of an upgrade. When it’s done it will be great. Hotel is very nice inside … courtyards, sitting areas. Breezy and spacious. Bed a little hard for my liking. Otherwise pleasantly surprised

We stayed for 2 nights. It was very convenient, central and safe area. The management had thought of almost everything that one would need for a stay. The pool and spa facilities and the patio seatings for larger groups was truly appreciated. All in all I will recommend this place.
