Rest and relaxation!
Had a wonderful visit with just myself and my dog at Marie’s cabin. It was an extremely hot week, unfortunately but my dog and I managed! We took in some trails and had a great relaxing time.

Disappointed on arrival
VRBO instructions didn't include how to open electronic gate. No internet at the road and no way to contact the owner. Fortunately after waiting half hour a hired hand was leaving and showed us where the gate key was. Owner forgot we were arriving on June 29 and cabin wasn't cleaned. We waited an hour while they cleaned the bathroom and brought towels and bedding. The bed in the loft was hot and the log steps were awkward to navigate. Some window cranks wouldn't work.

Beautiful
The day was good very good. Getting around to shopping antique stores et cetera including Lake Simcoe very easy and convenient. Our host was simply amazing and her horses the same if you get a chance to visit with them it’s worthwhile and just loved her dog Dodge. No complaints here at all

A lovely and cozy getaway that isn't too far from Toronto. In addition to the amenities and the walking trails, we had the additional pleasure of greeting and feeding some horses. We had a great time. If Vrbo doesn't send you the property access instructions, contact the host by phone

Quiet cozy time at the cabin
Spouse and I had a nice break for our daily routines during our weekend stay at the cabin. The cabin was quiet and cozy with many modern amenities: My first time in a cabin and I didn't realize cabins could have electric kettles to make a nice hot tea in the morning.

Great place!
Watching rainfall on the skylight is amazing and very romantic. The board game nook has a low ceiling but once you’re sitting it isn’t an issue. Also playing games downstairs in front of the fireplace is fantastic. The bed is super comfortable. Much better than most places I’ve stayed. Marie is super easy to contact if you need her. A tree came down across the driveway while we were there and within a couple hours she came through with a truck and a chainsaw so we could make our checkout time. Highly recommend.

Valentine getaway
My new husband and I took advantage of the Valentine/family day weekend and booked this little cabin to stay in. We came here on our honeymoon in October and loved it. And we had booked it before we even stayed the first time for this weekend. We even got to meet her new baby horse - so adorable and as we affectionately called him ‘extra spicy’ little attitude. Can’t wait for our next stay!

Great place to relax and reconnect
The pictures do not do this location justice. It's very cozy but not small by any means. Lots of places to relax, play games and enjoy the atmosphere. Property is well maintained both inside and out and the check-in process was very easy. We went to Keswick a few times and lots of nice places to shop and eat there. We will definately come back.

Cozy romantic cabin
It was a nice space to share with a partner for a few days. Conveniently close to a town and not far from the big city. Easy to get to and the hottub was nice.
Could use some curtains in the bedroom with all the windows to sleep easier, and a bigger hot water tank, but overall really nice

Perfect for a quite Honeymoon!
We booked this little cabin not too long after we got engaged in 2023 and wanted it as a sweet, quite honeymoon for us to spend time together. After the stress of wedding planning - we needed to reconnect as a couple and have time to just be us. This sweet little cabin did just that. We walked the trail not far from it, we went out to a wonderful dinner at one of the places the owner recommends in her guide sheets, we looked at the stars from the hot tub and enjoyed seeing them above the bed in the skylights and we had fun getting a fire going and just talking while eating smores, after a wonderful dinner we made together on the BBQ - from meat we bought at a farm a short drive away. It couldn't have been much more perfect! Any issues/questions we had, the owner was quick to respond! And we got to meet her sweet dog and beautiful horses that you can tell she clearly is very proud of and loves. We learned things about them we hadn't known before and got to enjoy an hour outside, chatting and watching the wonders of the animals. We already have our next visit booked for next year!

Quick fall escape
Cabin is exactly as shown on the pictures. Feels fairly isolated while still being conveniently close to town if you need it. Very well put together and cute. Hot tub is a nice touch and was lovely with the crisp fall air. It was grey and rainy a lot of our stay but thanks to the large area of covered porch we were still able to enjoy a lot of relaxing time outside.
