The apartment was not prepared for rent! In the kitchen only one fork????? , not to mention the other. Couch was stained / looks like someone pee on it. Not recommended!

Perfect Spot

Apartment was amazing and centrally located! I could not have picked a better place! Will definitely consider staying here again on the next visit. The amenities were exactly what we were looking for and the bed was very comfortable. It made our stay very comfortable and felt like we were home away from home.

Firstly there are many different apartments. The nice ones in the photos are not the ones you’ll be staying in! Nice apartment in a good location. However, there was a ‘hidden’ cleaning fee and you have to make prior arrangements to arrive at a certain time. Also the bed mattress was very thin and only one small pillow. They wouldn’t give us more. Not worth staying - find better! Gdansk has lots of places.

No issues with Apartment at all - superb location and all very pleasant. Vague check in arrangements should be resolved. Worked for us but quite stressful and almost stopped us from booking. Arrive with a flat mobile battery and you will have problems.

Very central location in centre of the Old Town.

Clean and comfortable inside. Balcony a little forgotten. With check out at 11am it would be helpful to have a room set aside for guests to wash and change in before their ongoing trip. Especially when the flight is not until evening. Security Guard very kind.

The apt we got was absolutely spotless, very new build, 24 hour security. The apt was a lot smaller than advertised, it didn't have all the kitchen equipment I was looking for namely a coffee maker. It had a double bed but no extra sheets for the second person who was staying on the sofa couch. I had to practically argue with lady to get some.

Modern apartment in great location

We chose this apartment principally for it's location but also because it looked modern. We were not disappointed in these regards. The only thing that could be improved was the bed which was just an uncomfortable sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped although there could have been a few more mugs and glasses. There is no proper dining table, only stools and a bench although there is a nice balcony with table and chairs where two people can easily eat a meal. We only prepared breakfast but more extensive meals could probably be cooked. The apartment was in a quiet location. Our apartment had a street view but many others in the building look out onto the pleasant courtyard. Recommended for couples but it might be a bit small for a larger family.

Excellent location and great apartment!

The apartment was brilliant- excellent value for money. It is in a perfect location and was extremely safe and secure. I can't fault anything about our stay. When we visit again we will definitely return to these apartments.

Centrally located comfortable apartment

Perfectly located in the centre of Old Town Gdansk, but away from all the noise. Cosy apartment which was very modern and clean. Good selection of cooking utensils if needed. The balcony overlooking the gardens and water feature is nice and relaxing. You do need to know which door you are going into as there is no sign on the street, but it is next to some steps which lead to the gated gardens. The shower was powerful and of a good temperature. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is the curtains, only small curtains for such a big window, in winter this is fine, but the sun shone through our window at 5am each morning waking us up.

Poor first impression

Poor first impression. We arrived at about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. There is no sign for "Dom and house" at the address and the contact number provided was engaged. For at least an hour, we were unable to get any assistance. The place had a washing machine (always welcome) and an oven (very nice surprise). There is a supermarket around the corner. The mattress and linen were however, worn and a bit light for the last week in April.

The apartment was in a great location, plenty of room and pretty clean. Downsides were that it was initially very cold due to no heating being on and big windows with no curtains. However great as a base though we did miss the comforts of a hotel

Modern apartment, great location

Not easy initially to find as there isn't a place actually called "Dom and House" as its probably a few flats used as apartments in a residential block. But as its in a tiny road you can work it out. Location is fantastic, in the middle of the old town. The apartment is really nice, clean, modern fittings, comfortable beds, TV took a while to figure out but all good. The only problem we had was no hot water on our last day, called the number given, told this "sometimes happens" and that it would be fixed soon, unfortunately wasnt fixed in time before we checked out. Not good. But other than that can't fault the place.

Dom house apartments Gdansk

Welcomed by Alicja who gave us her contact no.if we should need anything, she said that as we were there for a week the room would be cleaned after 5 days,this did not happen. We asked for hand towels,tea towels,extra pillows and an airier for wet towels and to dry clothes that we had washed in the washing machine. Hand towels were provided but Alicja said as the apartments were full she could not guarantee extra pillows,she also said we should use the paper towels to dry pots. She said there was an airier in the room, there was not! Alicja the following day left for us one poor quality extra pillow,again telling us that was all that was available because the apartments were full! At this stage we gave up and decided to enjoy the rest of our stay. The cooker was of the induction type where only certain pans would operate on the hob, the frying pan was not an induction type and therefore would not heat up on this hob. Facilities were very basic in what was a lovely apartment,the service after taking up residence was disappointing.

Great location

Perfect location just a few hundred meters from the crane and Old Town. Ours was the 2 person flat, and it was a nice modern room with a little kitchen and living space in one room. And our own balcony overlooking the yard with a fountain. Overall, a fantastic stay, we were really pleased. Only criticism would be that you need to pay 100 zl to check in after 8, and to pay for your stay you need to meet up with the staff in your room instead of getting charged from your card directly.
