A nice large cabin that was perfect for our family reunion. The host was great and easy to get in touch with if anything popped up. Really enjoyed the layout of the cabin and how close it was to downtown. Can’t wait to come back and visit.

Host was welcoming, sent detailed instructions for the house via email and text. We received the door code on time. Unfortunately, the door code did not work but I was easily able to contact the office and they fixed the issue with a new code within 5 minutes. The house is huge and lots of room for our family of 20. The house was stocked nicely with linens, towels, soap, paper towels, bags, etc. The reason for 3 stars is there was a roach issue. We were killing roaches on all levels of the house our entire stay. They were getting into some of the suitcases. It was quite bad. I was able to alert the office of this and they scheduled someone to come out and spray but they did not show up. The best part of the house was the proximity to downtown. You can walk to and from, but take note that walking back to the cabin is up a moderate size hill and on a narrow sidewalk. Easy for most adults and older children, but not older adults or young children it would be difficult and not safe. The community pool and house that tub were great. The children loved the pool and adults loved the hot tub. I would recommend instructions on how to use the stove. It was slightly difficult to figure out. LOTS of kitchen necessities, cups, plates, utensils, 2 dishwashers, etc was great! The trash can does need replacing as the lid doesn't open with the foot pedal. The sound system would not work downstairs and the wifi was in and out in certain parts of the house.

The stellar customer service started when I booked. Someone contacted me and followed up with recommended restaurants, food delivery services, photographers and caterers. The house was amazing and not too high up. The proximity to downtown was great. The walk back from downtown is steep. We had an issue with the heat. Someone from maintenance was there within 2 hours to address the situation. The house was clean. The stove was a little hard to regulate. But we were able to cook breakfast and dinner. All in all it was an amazing stay and I would choose this house again and again.

Our stay was very good. We were there for my Mom's 88th birthday. Property accommodated all of us very well. It was spacious, clean and well stocked. Location was excellent. The bears love it too! Multiple citing on the property.

The Majestic Pines Retreat

The Majestic Pines Retreat was extremely nice and spacious. The cabin was everything we expected. The only issues were the lower level refrigerator that never cooled and parking spots that was taken by guests of other cabins. There were several bear sightings. We even had bears come onto the balcony. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Great property

We had a great time for new years. Property was well laid out for families. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for large groups. Only negative was no disposal for those that cook but definitely would stay again especially with a large crowd!

Great location

Great location near downtown Gatlinburg. We could have used more parking spaces alotted since we had a bigger cabin. A few minor issues happen in some rooms but the maintenance came to work on.
