The Edelweiss Estate
Welcome to your Smoky Mountain getaway with open-concept living spaces, exposed brick, stone, wood, and plaster interiors. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Smokies and a beautiful view of Mount Le Conte, the Estate is a great oasis for your retreat or family gathering. Perfectly situated in the heart of Gatlinburg, just minutes from downtown, the Estate is close to everything the mountains and the city have to offer.
Designed to incorporate all of your living needs within our clean, modern, and European-inspired surroundings, the Estate includes a complete kitchen, four bedrooms, one bunk room, three bathrooms, a balcony, a dining area, and several living spaces, all designed to allow your mind to escape the flurry of everyday life.
As you open the front door, you enter the foyer, which opens ahead into the bunk room. This room features two bunk beds with twin XL mattresses custom built to accommodate adults and kids alike. Comfortable seating is centered in the room for the perfect movie-watching experience. Please note that this room isn’t connected to a master bedroom if you have small children.
You access the rest of the Estate through the red door to the left in the foyer. The main floor includes two bedrooms, one outdoor patio, and one hall bathroom equipped with a full washer/dryer. Please note that closets for hanging and storing clothes are in the hallways.
If you go down the staircase to the bottom floor, you’ll find a bedroom suite with a full bathroom and hanging chairs to lounge in while you enjoy the landscape of the forest from the glass doors. Please note that the bedroom is open to the staircase for a lofted-type experience.
The very top floor contains the living room with stunning mountain views, an open, light-filled kitchen, and the master suite with a private bathroom, and living space with a sleeper sofa. With windows lining the living room, you can watch the sunrise and enjoy time on the spacious patio overlooking the valley and Mount Le Conte or sink into the sofas and watch a movie with friends and family.
We offer a seamless and contactless self-check-in process. After booking, you will receive a link to fill out our security verification portal, and once your reservation date arrives, you will receive all of the details you need to access the house via our keyless entry system. We will be available by email and text should you need anything before and during your experience.
A few things to note: -This is not a typical Gatlinburg cabin or chalet, so please book if you want a unique experience. -Parking: There is a long driveway in the front of the home that can comfortably fit two cars. If more spots are needed, the driveway can fit five total; however, you may need to back out in order to allow the first car to leave. Please keep in mind that you are in the mountains and need to be comfortable driving in these conditions to access the house. -We love bringing our children to the Estate and feel completely comfortable with them being there. However, know that the Estate is not "baby-proof." -Use of the fireplaces is prohibited without explicit permission at this time. -While the surroundings of the Estate are beautiful, we don’t have a dedicated yard for use. If you'd like to be outside, we recommend that you use the patios instead. Pets - not allowed Smoking - not allowed

Beautiful view
The property is great. Large kitchen. Bedrooms spaced out with plenty of bathrooms. 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers. Very nice stove. Beautiful views. Beds were comfortable. Cleaning crew needs some supervision - large cobwebs, dirty light fixtures. Etc. But linens counters and facilities were clean. Would stay again.

It’s not your typical cabin
We had a wonderful stay! Spacious, clean, and absolutely beautiful (on the inside). It had many amenities that were not expected, such as plenty of trash bags, laundry detergent, coffee and creamer, and more.
The view was a 10/10.
The driveway was kind of hard to get out of, but with some help it’s doable and they let you know once you check-in abt the driveway.

The surprise is on the inside
Be prepared to drive up the freaking mountain! Had I been given a better description of the location, I wouldn’t have chosen this property, but if you like winding, steep, narrow roads this is for you. The inside of the property is nice, modern but still rustic enough. I’m assuming there’s some remodeling occurring because boards and trims were missing. The heat didn’t work at all and it was rainy and cold during our stay. It wasn’t all that clean but we brought travel cleaning supplies jic. The bathroom on the main floor has the worst shower ever, it’s extremely small, the shower head extends way too far and doesn’t adjust. All in all it’s a decent property with some very nice appliances, super soundbar AND a bear family visited right before check out!

Nice home base
We stayed at the Edelweiss Estate during a soccer tournament. We had several families stay. The place was clean and bright. Our boys had a great time; they especially liked the separate bunk room.

Hiking trip
Very unique place to stay. The views are great and close to town. I really loved the European style of the house especially my room in the basement. The drive up to it is very steep so have a good vehicle.

Amazing Place
The house has a really cool concept! It’s clean, easy to check in, and has lots of room for a big family, the location is close to everything, and has nice views. We encounter some minor issues but the property manager was fast at responding, so nothing that affected our stay there.

The truth hurts
The house was a mess and unclean upon arrival. All of the beds were unmade and food and plates were left out like someone had just been there. It was an unsettling feeling. They had to send an emergency cleaning crew and we weren't able to settle in to our rooms until 9pm. The house renovations were unfinished with holes in walls and ceilings. The closets were unusable due to spider webs in all of them. The outdoor spaces had little to no furniture. The hvac worked on some floors and not at all on the others. The driveway had washed away portions and didn't not have a protective rail along the washed away portion. Smoke detectors had low batteries and beeped the entire visit.
For the price of over $3k for 3 nights it was one of the worst places I have stayed.
