Decent rental, would be fantastic with more attention to detail. Overall, this was a very nice property, the house was spacious and has a great view of the mountains. It was also very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. The reason this didn’t get a higher rating from us was the house was not as clean as we would expect, and there were some things that were rundown and needed maintenance. It seemed like the floors hadn’t been mopped, as if you walked around barefoot your feet would quickly become visibly dirty. The biggest turn off and I know this is a small thing, but the cover to the hot tub was absolutely disgusting and in dire need of replacement. I can’t imagine one of these is more than a couple hundred dollars, but this one had obviously been repaired so many times there were chunks missing from it. They tried to patch it. There was 3 inch long screws sticking out of it. if I could upload photos, I would, but it almost made us not want to go in the hot tub. Might suggest getting a different property management or cleaning service and doing some basic maintenance to keep things in better shape.
