Amazing Weekend

We were only in town for the weekend, but this place was perfect! It truly felt like a home. Everything was modern and up to date. The view was absolutely amazing! I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo and Views!

First off, I take reviews very seriously so this will include the good and bad of our stay. The drive to this mountain top condo is quite windy but so beautiful. The resort is well maintained and all the condos are positioned well to maximize the beautiful mountain views. We even saw a bear one night while walking around the resort, it was a little scary! But that's to be expected. Check-In was so easy and the staff were very nice. The indoor pool was clean and the hot tub was glorious. There was also a sauna and steam room available; the resort offers towels for the pool so no need to bring your own. It was a little far from Gatlinburg though, maybe 15 minutes. Now on to the condo. It was renovated beautifully! Very modern!! However, I don't feel it was cleaned before we got there as there was hair and dust in the corners of the rooms and dirt on the floor in the living room. This condo has fast WiFi! The balcony was a little small but the chairs on there were very nice and comfy. The 2 chairs by the balcony were a little wobbly and the stools around the table were not solid and moved a lot when you sat on them. We did have an issue with the Nest thermostat going up to 76 during the day, it was 90 outside so that was a negative but we were able to fix that. The bathrooms were roomy and well updated but the HWH is not large enough to accommodate 2 adults taking showers after each other. Might need to switch to a Tankless HWH. The bathroom with the shower/tub combo did not get as hot as the bathroom with just the shower. The beds were comfortable but there was plastic on the mattresses. The bed in the master bedroom is quite low, almost sitting on the floor. We are younger (30s) so it didn't bother us too much but for an older person it would have been a challenge. The TVs were very nice and there was a new Nintendo console to play all the old games we grew up playing! It was a very nice bonus. The walls within the condo are very thin so we could hear what was going on the living room from the master bedroom, which is the furthest room from it. The kitchen is beautiful! It was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates and cups and even some spices! However, 2 people max can fit in there as it is very tight even with the 2 people in there standing side by side. We are average sized and we would have to "suck it in" for us to get past each other. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!! The price was great! We will definitely be back!!!
