The staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is in an old building so of course there are no elevators and you have to carry your luggage up narrow stairs. The hotel is very rich in charm and atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but good. The main downside, which can also been seen as an advantage, depending on your preference, is the party noise coming from pubs below and across the street. The room was also quite small.But altogether a very nice experience and perfect for a short stay in lively and xharming Galway.
