HOST WAS VERY KIND AND ACCOMMODATING WITH OUR TRAVEL TIMES. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. ONLY 1 ISSUE FOR US WITH PARKING WHICH THAT WAS BOUGHT UP TO HOST AND IT WAS CLEARED FOR US WITH NO HESITATIONS! THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO STAY AT YOUR PROPERTY AND WILL RETURN AGAIN!!!

Pelican Paridise worked out great for us. The pool was perfect for 4 kids. The yard was a nice size and fenced but there was a broken spot in the trellis/pergola, of course my dog found it. Thankfully she was still on her leash when she spotted it. I just had to make sure she didn't go near it. We had everything we needed there. The location was great and was pretty quiet at night.

We loved being able to bring our dogs with us and loved having a fenced in yard for them to run. The house is clean and set up well. We stayed because there is a pool and loved being able to swim when most pools are closed. The house is very close to a public beach also. Communication with the host was easy and included recommendations we asked about.

Amazing vacation spot!

First off the location is amazing! Right next to a awesome mexican restaurant right down the road and right across from that restaurant is the beautiful beach access point. Communication with the owner was flawless the entire trip. The drive to pleasure pier was only 20 minutes and a ton of fun! The neighborhood was nice and quiet the entire time with suoer friendly neighbors. Thanks again for the awesome stay!

Weekend get away

The house was nice at first you think it a 3 bedroom but in fact its a 2 bedroom upstairs and a area converted into a room not the bedt had a smell and the bathroom was odd. The TVs didnt work only 1 in the master. No toilet ppaper or trash bags

ideal home in an ideal location

Galveston has a special place in my heart, but I'm at a place in my life where I am looking for something a bit quieter when I want to lay my head down these days Pelican Paradise is in the quiet neighborhood of Jamaica Beach, with convenient access to both beaches and the bay. The pool was a great way to start the morning, and close out the days. The whole home was nice, and really suited for a quiet getaway while still being close enough to Galveston that it's a quick drive when you are looking for a little more excitement or a bite to eat. The only reason we didn't book an extra night was because someone else beat us to it!

Enjoyable stay!

Great place! Rooms and location of the house is great, only had a few concerns that are not as bad but there was a huge rat in the toy box for the pool toys so did not use the toys but I brought my own, the fridge is a bit small so recommend bringing food for maybe 3,4 days if you like to cook, other than that everything was great! there is a Walmart not far, the area for activities is great and distance to the beach is great! Definitely recommend this place.

Our little getaway was perfect, the house was very nice and plenty of space for our family of 5. It was also a big plus having a private pool at the home after spending all day at the beach! We will definitely be back

DO NOT STAY HERE

I wish there was an option to upload pictures!!!!! This place was a complete nightmare. Upon arrival the house was turned upside down from no bedding linens on the beds, the beds having stains, clothes everywhere on the floor, clothes in the washer and dryer, not sure if it was blood or poop stains on the wall in the bottom room. SUPER DIRTY!!!!! I message MELISSA the property manager and let she sent a cleaning lady at 9pm. The cleaning lady literally stayed their for 1 hour. It is IMPOSSIBLE for her to clean all that and wash everything within that 1 hour! I literally spent the rest of the night cleaning myself. Over the phone Melissa has offered me 50% refund back. Now upon requesting it she is being super rude! She does not respond to my messages and at this point does not answer me. I am literally fighting this with my bank currently. Please do not stay here!!!!!!

Great House!

The house was wonderful and at a great location. We loved the layout of the living area with the two bedrooms but was a little disappointed that the third bedroom was not connected to the same floor as the other two. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place to others for their getaway.

Great location. Enjoyed the outdoor pool

Loved the neighborhood & location of the house. Around 12-13 short miles to Pleasure Pier, the busy crowds & delicious restaurants. The online house description & the posted photos were perfect. Upon arrival we discovered it is a 2 bedroom house & not 3 as described. This was greatly disappointing. Our 2 small Grands were going to sleep in the room with the daybed & pull out trundle. The "3rd" bedroom is in fact not a bedroom at all, but rather a closed off, damp/mildew smelling room underneath the house. I imagine in the past this room was used as a storage area. It also does not have a direct set of steps to the upstairs. Anyone young staying in this room at night would need to open the front gate underneath the house, walk around to the back, then use the steps. We ended up making a pallet for the kids to sleep. A pull out sofa couch in the LR would be the perfect solution. The actual upstairs living area was adorable. The rooms were super nice & beachy decorated. The house is super cute on the in/outside. The above ground pool was enjoyed both nights. Everyone loved the over sized, clean pool. The covered patio was welcome & relaxing also. The front yard & fenced in back yard were just beautiful. My only complaint of the living area upstairs was we were a party of 6 & there were only 5 bath towels. If you did not need a 3rd bedroom this would be the PERFECT vacation house. We enjoyed/loved our stay here, but would be better prepared the next time.

Beautiful property!

We had a great stay! Cute property in a quiet neighborhood super close to the beach. Gas station right in front of neighborhood and places to eat were right down the road. Very convenient with everything we needed near by. Communication with property owners was great very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Also bed was super comfy which is sometimes hard to find when staying other places! Oh and you can park on the beach from this location which really helps when unloading and not having a long walking distance to set up. Even has a separate sleeping quarters downstairs if you need a separate area for some of your group really helped with loud teenage girls that stay up late lol!
