The staff at this hotel are incompetent, have terrible customer relation skills, and are lazy and have low pride in their upkeep of the cleanliness and maintenance of their property. The location is great though.

Absolutely terrible

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The property was rundown and dirty. The staff was unfriendly and unresponsive. The breakfast food ran out, the trash cans were overflowing. We asked staff to refill water and waffle batter and were ignored. The beds in the rooms were small (not even a double) and there was no blanket, only a sheet. The shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty. The floors were dirty and the doors stuck. I can’t believe they charge for this place!

Awful. The man that runs the hotel was rude from the start. Very argumentative. Anything you said to him he had to argue about. Customer service lacking. Dirty hotel. Don't book here.

Room is dirty only clean is the bed, lamp are rusty no shampoo and conditioner in the holder one little dove soap in sink room smells. Already paid room through Expedia. They pulled 69.50 more and a 15.00 dollars parking charge which not stated when we booked.We are trying to get back the 69.50 they charge us and been holding and talking to them they just put us on hold for the longest and then send us to someone else we do not recommend this place. Stayed 1 night.

The hidden fee of $15.00 per night to park in the Wingate by Wyndham parking lot. There should not have been a fee for that, it's the first time ever this type of hidden fee was thrown in at check in time. This vacation had been planned for a while, so I felt stuck to pay it being over 300 miles from home. It's a shame this is aloud

Doors are broken, very hard to open. Male staff is VERY RUDE. Not nice at all. Pictures online are not what you get. The facility is very run down and old. I took my kids on vacation and the male at the facility seen us unable to open the door. He ran over to us from the office in the middle of the night. One I am a single mother with 4 of my children, two he didn’t identify himself, he let himself into our room when I was unloading them and it was really darks. I had kids still sitting in the car and this man ran up unidentified and starts yelling at me about breaking his doors that were already broken. He said I deactivated one of the cards by putting a phone on top of it. So if cards weren’t working it was my fault. I tried to explain there was no phone near it until he ran into my room like a maniac and scared my 3 yr old boy who was watching that phone. He put the phone down fast to get away from him. He didn’t let me speak, just kept going on and on about how I could have broke his door. Mind you that door was heavy as hell and I’m not even 5ft and not muscular at all. There was no possible way I can break the door but he continued to yell at me telling me I needed to scan the card 3 or more times. He kept trying himself and it wasn’t working for him either, and the door knob needs to be turned upside down for it to open. It’s not like a regular doorknob. Which they didn’t tell us upon check in. We tried to get in and could tell everybody was having the same issue.

It was clean, employees at check in were nice, even after dealing with a very rude customer, one who would in no way be appeased. Mgr actually brought my drivers license to my room after I left it at the front desk. He saved me from missing my cruise! The issue with the rude customer was due partly to a language barrier between the front desk employee & a very frustrated, rude customer. All in all, I was disappointed with the somewhat dilapidated appearance of the room, but it was clean. I was just expecting better conditions

This place is absolutely disgusting. The staff is rude. The hotel is very dirty there was old food and cereal on the floor and countertop at 4:00 in the afternoon. This place looks nothing like the pictures and the pool doesn't even work and they charge you $15 to park even though you're parking in front of your door.

The place is a spot to lay your head and shower so I guess for the price it would do. The daily parking fee is $15 and the breakfast does just consist of coffee and waffles. So if you get the place for cheap then ok. I would recommend you asking for the pool to be cleaned before soaking your toes in.

No cups in room. Criticized by staff why I waited to report this at check out. Didn't tell staff we used our water bottles instead. Toilet handle had to be wiggled to stop the water. Had to be happening when staff last cleaned the room. Outside cover fell of room A/C unit in the evening. Evidently no one in staff makes any kind of rounds or responds to issues in plan view. Remodel paint job very poor. Cancelling second reservation for Jan 2026.
