We had a good time! This place is close to the public beach access. The only thing we had concerns with was the floors do need some work and the house was not that clean.

The property was good - just a few things that could make it much better. We spent time at the dining table eating and playing games but there was no light. Also, not all the fans worked. It was close to the beach - yea! and we didn't need a golf cart but our view was of the other houses - but that is on me for not checking into that.Overall, it was fine for what we needed.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!! Communicated problems with the first 15 minutes if arrival. Dirty, the property is in poor condition, smelled, ac could not keep up, furniture was filthy. Terrible communication with Beach Box. Nothing was resolved. Floor has BLACK tape holding the planks in place and weak spots throughout. Beach Box DOES NOT follow through with communication. Horrible, terrible, NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Shameful!

The place was nice and spacious. There were a few things that were a nuisance though: a raised floor tile and a light sensor on one of the top bunks.

Management was responsive with text through VRBO. Outside was clean, nice quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Downstairs bedroom is only connected through the outside. But it had its own living area. Hoping they fixed this stuff.Locks were complicated and hard ro open., floors and blinds were dirty. There is only 1 TV in each living Are, none in bedrooms. Furniture needed ro be moved since the outlets wer not convenient to the bed.Light switches wee complicated. If one is clocked then another won’t work..

It was a cute property in a quiet part of town. We all enjoyed it and slept well - beds were very comfortable. We almost didn’t see the room downstairs - you have to use the key to unlock it. Only complaints were that the floor needs to be replaced (we tripped over tile coming up multiple times) and saw a couple of bugs. (Two were dead)

Communication is key for me and I appreciate the immediate responses I received. Fun fact: the neighbor next door on the left when facing the house had common friends with us. Small world. Some amazing memories were made this weekend that we will remember for a lifetime

Pros: The house was clean, with many beds. We had plenty of towels, and it was decorated nicely. There is lots of storage in the kitchen with nice appliances. The location is great for walking distance to the beach and a short drive to town. It was very nice to be able to bring our dogs.Cons: flooring needs to be replaced - some spots are very soft, and it felt like you could fall through. The back deck has some loose rails. There is no lighting in the dining room area. There was no electrical plug in the 2nd upstairs bathroom, and neither bathroom had toilet paper holders. The kitchen could be better stocked with mixing bowls, storage containers, etc. It is evident that the property managers own the property and do not use it to know what is missing when you are staying at a place for several days.

The worst thing of this stay was one bedroom and bathroom had no lights. They did send a maintenance man who tried very hard to to fix it. Had I not been a contractor he would not have fixed it. I found a loose wire. Down Stairs room was unusable, Musty smell was really bad.Grill was in bad shape. No charcoal.Kitchen was very poorly stocked. not even salt and pepper.Minimal towels. If we would have had every bed full there would not have been enough. There was no exhaust fans in the bathrooms and one bathroom had no plugins.

The property was filthy, floor was dirty, had bed bugs, used kitchen utensils. Its as if it was never cleaned before we got there. Check-in was not well communicated maintenance was still there painting the floor outside so unable to enter property.Communicated with VRBO this was good as they had been able to refund my second night we did not stay another day. Overall just a bad place to stay if you are visiting Galveston.Would not recommend. Surprisingly I was still charged for the first night, didn't when sleep in the bed as I found two bed bugs crawling under the sheets.

This house needs a lot of work, the downstairs portion smells horribly of mold and mildew. The bottom lock on the main front door is very difficult to get to unlock and get inside the house. The weather stripping on the front door is worn out so water was coming in. The overall cleanliness of the house was poor. Dust all over things, dirt and grime on floor, counter tops, cabinet doors looked like they had never been wiped down. Spots in the floor feel like if it step to hard you will fall thru. Floor is peeling up and needs to be replaced. Went to open a drawer to get silverware and the entire drawer fell thru. Window unit in one of the rooms leaks water on the floor because it’s not installed correctly. The plugs in one of the bedroom the majority of them don’t work. The dishwasher sprays water out of the top of it. Also founf 2 roaches inside the house. Customer service is a joke, our trip was planned for the 2 days of TS Arthur. We called before and asked if we could cancel or reschedule due to the unfavorable weather conditions and we were told no that we would not be able to reschedule and we would be out the almost 900 if we decided to cancel. Night 1 we lost power for 4 hours then it was off and on for a few hours then it was off for several hours. Called host to go over concerns regarding the safety and cleanliness of the house and to ask about a refund if we left that day due to lack of power. Night 2 lost power again around 11pm until we left at 8am

One of the worst stays I've had in a while. The upstairs unit was fair, but the downstairs bedding was unmade and the dirty linens were left on the sofa. One of the ac units never worked, the other worked only sporadically, and it smelled of mold. I tried to make contact through this communication medium and got zero response. I had to call 4 different times to get them to get fresh bedding and work on the ac. They finally came 3 hours after my arrival and as I said, the ac's never did work properly. I had to have some of my party stay in a hotel at added cost. I am not happy.

This house was fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, crock pot, blender, toaster, basic spices, coffee machine, coffee and sugar, trash bags, tp, towels, washer, dryer, detergent, dish soap and sponge, 2 bbq pits, baby high chair and play pin, 2 picnic tables outside, and nice patio chairs on the balcony. We enjoyed our stay very much! It was very comfy. Only complaint was the downstairs room had a mildew smell and the restroom down there smelled like something died. But even so, I would definitely stay here again! The host was quick to answer any questions I had and they threw in some beach towels for us to use as well, which came in very handy!
