Larry and Sally's place was peaceful and beautiful! It was clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Upon arrival, Larry answered any of my questions I had. If you are looking for a place secluded and peaceful, but still just a short few minutes to downtown Galena, this is the place for you!

Girls' Getaway Trip

We had our annual Girls' Getaway Trip in Galena this year. There were 6 of us and the house worked out perfect. Four bathrooms was a game changer for getting us fixed up and out of the house in a timely manner. However, we didn't spend too much time away because we really enjoyed the house too. Morning coffee on the porch was amazing and I couldn't believe we didn't get eaten by mosquitoes, but it was lovely and not a bite. The proximity to town is excellent, but you feel so secluded at the house.

It was the perfect getaway for our ladies!! The house was just what we needed, peaceful and we loved the wrap around deck for our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine. The owners Larry and Sally were very gracious and made sure we had everything needed!! I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Galena!

Coziest house in the woods

All of our group loved this house so much! Comfortable well designed spaces with plenty of bathrooms and lots of fireplaces. The view from the front porch is lovely, lots of birds for the bird lovers. Just a 10 minute drive into Galena. Definitely want to come back here!

Relaxing, rejuvenating weekend getaway

While still great, the photos and description of Pine Hollow don’t scratch the surface of how perfect this place is. Directions are spot on to get there, check in is seamless and from rooms to outdoor spaces it’s all fantastic. We had many great conversations and laughs on the porch from morning coffee to evening drinks.

Beautiful home, close to downtown

Had a great weekend staying here. The house was large, clean and had everything we needed, including a fireplace and bathroom in every bedroom! The host left restaurant recommendations and replied quickly if we had questions. We were greeted by two deer in the yard as we drove up. Beautiful property and only a 5-minute drive to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Pine hollow getaway

Pine hollow is located just outside the city limits of Galen’s making for an easy access to the city for restaurants and shopping. The “ cottage” itself is located in a very private and secluded park like setting with fire pit ( which we did not use) and an abundance of wildlife-we saw a magnificent 10 point buck running across the yard. No neighbors to annoy or disturb which was important to us The “ cottage” has three very large suites with en-suite bath. Two gathering areas, each with a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen was perfect for our lite snacks , breakfast and lunch. Very clean with adequate bath and bed linens. Very comfortable all around. I highly recommend Pine Hollow for those who desire peace and tranquility for a getaway but close enough for convenience

Wonderful okacet

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere there. The beautiful home had tons of amenities and a close 5 minute drive into the Galena was a dream. Loved everything about this home. We will definitely be back again.

This was a beautiful, serene property that was in absolutely wonderful condition. 6 family members stayed for a long weekend and we sat on the wrap around porch, had a fire in the fire ring, made meals in the fantastic kitchen. What a place!!!!!!!

Girls getaway

We spent the weekend celebrating our nieces graduating Cosmetology school. What a relaxing, quiet weekend. The view is amazing, the house had everything that we needed. Will definitely recommend to others.

We were with friends who suggested a road trip to Potosi, and Galena, WI. This property worked perfect for us!! Beautiful location and Galena was only 2 minutes away. We enjoyed this property very much. Highly recommended.

Amazing getaway

The place was perfect! We were 3 friends, so having 3 on suites was amazing. The property is beautiful, and it is only a mile or two from town. Coffee and wine on the porch was great. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!

The location of this property is right outside Galena. The property was beautiful! Freshly mowed and lots of flowers. The house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The large kitchen table was great for six women to sit around and eat and visit for many hours. It was a great place for a girls weekend away. The owners were great and very responsive to messages. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer!

A Peaceful Country Setting Close to Town

Family wedding trip near galena

This house and property is fantastic . The house has room for at least 8 people comfortably and having 4 bathrooms was awesome as many trying to get ready for a wedding . This home has literally everything you need right there . The porch was our favorite .so comfy, homey and peaceful . Property is pristine and beautiful . The beds were wonderful and comfy . Porch in Heaven

What an absolute GEM! This property is a must if you are visiting with a group of friends. We could have easily skipped the golfing and tourist shops and just sat on the front porch listening to the birds and enjoying the beautiful view. Unfortunately, we were only there two nights. Definitely going to come back again. Three large/HUGE bedrooms with private bathrooms. Extra bathroom downstairs with a sunken jet tub and separate shower. Large kitchen with all the necessary wants and needs. Just bring your groceries! The sitting room is cozy and relaxing with large leather couches. Oh, and the rooms all have real fireplaces if you desire! Larry was a joy to talk to and told us the history. We had no problems while staying but I have no doubt he would take care of it immediately. Can’t wait until the next Galena trip!!
