Nice rooms in a convenient location near the Tenjin Underground mall and subway. Lots of dining and shopping nearby. The customer service was fine, but not as wonderful as the other hotels I stayed at while in Japan. No coffee offered in rooms and the coffee machine in the lobby was not working. Also we were told we could get a cab to the airport early in the morning, but the day of found out that was not the case and had to hail a cab ourselves.

The front desk staff spoke English which was helpful for us. The beds were comfortable. The built in little sofa had a huge stain on the cushion which was kind of gross and made me not want to sit there. Great location.

This hotel is located in a great area Fukuoka’s Tenjin area. We walked everywhere using the hotel as a base. The hotel room was small but manageable with our two big suitcases. It’s great that they have a washer/dryer combo. We did some laundry using Google Translate app.

This hotel was a good fit for our family of three adults. Located in Tenjin Miami which is a short ride from the airport via Hakata station first then a transfer. Choose the Daimaru exit 3 escalator if with big or heavy luggages, otherwise use exit 6 for two flight of stairs and then walk two blocks to reach the hotel. The hotel stored our luggage since we arrived early. Room was clean and adequate, toiletries provided at reception although no body lotion nor coffee sachets. You have to go to reception to get coffee from the machine. A godsend was the washing machine inside the room.

Great location! The washer/dryer in the room was a great bonus . Breakfast was decent and convenient. Staff were friendly. We are low-maintenance and enjoy our peace and quiet; this hotel worked out nicely for us, and we had a wonderful stay. We definitely would stay again.

Overall, my experience was great here. The location is walking distance for major shopping zones, public transportation, and local yatai hubs. The staff were super friendly, and helpful. The room amenities were great. I was doing the diamond tour of Japan as a first time visitor. So, I went from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and finally to Fukuoka. It was only at Tokyu Stay that my room gave me access to a microwave, and laundry machine. This helps alleviate the burden of having to take care of these daily action items while on vacation. With such easy access to such amenities, you get to get back to enjoying your vacation that much faster. Would I recommend this hotel to a friend/family member? Definitely.
