If you choose just walk on the ferry and avoid the lines and expense of bringing a car. A large, fully provisioned kitchen, Comfortable common/living rooms and four bedrooms can accommodate up to 14 people. This historic house has hardwood floors, original built-ins and plenty of charm. A great home base right in town. The Loring house is the perfect location for your next vacation or get-together.

This was such a wonderful old house to stay in. We were there to put on my mother’s memorial and it was a perfect place to come and have some peaceful moments. The location of this house could not be better. It is a short walk to the ferry and shops and restaurants. The beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful. Perfect property for our stay on the island! We had 3 families there for a wedding. 7 adults and 5 children. Great space for us all to sleep and enjoy. The backyard was especially wonderful for the kids and the croquet set was fun for them to learn a new game. Located close to the shopping and ferry dock, yet no close neighbors. Easy check-in and check/out. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Friday Harbor!
