We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very well-appointed, clean, and organized. All the little extras like the s’more station were a really nice additions. The landscape was wonderful, with all sorts of spots to sit and take in the view of the pond. Thank you to the thoughtful, accommodating, and attentive hosts.

Wonderful little space. The hosts have thought of everything. My family of 3 stayed 2 nights for a trip to the Texas state fair and a day at the Fort Worth Stockyards. We grilled steaks one night, built a fire the next. Our daughter fished, played horseshoes, and we were inspired to build our own dart board from their perfect setup. The coffee bar was perfection. I left this cabin inspired to build my own on my property in south MS. Super clean, quiet, and relaxing.

I can’t recommend this cabin enough!! Everything was great from the communication, location, and ease of booking, but the cherry on top was the cabin itself and the serenity! Tiffaney and Derek clearly care about their guests and are fantastic hosts!

The cabin was AMAZING!!! I was really looking forward to staying there when I booked it and it was even better than I hoped. This is hands down the most well thought out rental I've ever stayed in. Anything that I thought would be nice to have or hoped would be available was there. The cabin and property is beautiful, peaceful and truly cozy. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Instructions and communication were top notch! Only had sunrise and sunset to enjoy the waterfall, pond and wildlife. There was a roadrunner living nearby. Kids hadnt seen one before, so that was a plus! :) Cabin is nesteled in trees so it feels secluded. Location was 5 minutes from our venue and was perfect!Thanks, Tiffany and Derek!

Perfect for our time with grandsons!

This was our first trip with just us and our two 11-year-old grandsons. We wanted a quiet, relaxing spot where the boys could fish and spend some much-needed time outdoors. This was perfect! The only negative was the Texas heat outside, but hey, it's Texas in the summer. The cabin was sufficently cool and very comfortable. the kids loved the loft area! It is decorated so adorable and everything you need for a comfortable stay is furnished, along with some special extras! We want to visit again maybe in the fall cooler weather :).

What an amazing place, we had our last few days in Texas here and I really did not want to leave. The cabin is cozy and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable too. Added bonus was the fishing pond, where my husband caught many fish while I relaxed reading on the porch. Perfect peaceful place

The absolute BEST place we’ve stayed! So cozy. So quiet. So beautiful. There was plenty of everything! It was clean. The linens and towels smelled nice. (Weird, I know. But it’s a small thing that’s a big deal.) Tiffany and Derek were as kind and helpful as they could be.

Amazing Local Get-Away

This was our second time at the property and we will definitely be back! It’s perfect for a few days of rest and relaxation, with plenty of outdoor activities to pass the time. Still one of the best stocked vacation properties we’ve ever stayed at!

Great Getaway!

We opted to stay here for a two night rest on our way to the East Coast! What a great idea! This little cabin was quiet and peaceful ! Communication from the owners was perfect!! The cabin was clean and serene!! It is located close enough to I20 and close to restaurants and churches! If we are in this area again it is definitely a “do over”.

Wonderful cabin rental

This property was absolutely lovely and peaceful. The cabin was beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed just sitting out on the porch watching the cows graze and fish doing acrobatics from the pond. The beds and pillows were very comfy as well.

Overall great stay. Plan to be a repeat guest due to the quiet and peaceful nature of this cozy cabin. Host is very attentive. GPS stuggled locating cabin; yet host did give clear directions.

Exactly what we needed

We wanted to get away for the weekend to just be in nature and connect with ourselves and each other, and this stay was exactly that. From the seclusion of having the cabin to ourselves, to all of the amenities that were readily available. The Burkes provided everything we needed, and the only time we needed to leave was for food or special things we wanted to do.

Such a gem!

I was in town for a concert and my partners flight from Colorado got canceled so I ended up staying alone but I still had an amazing time. It was so relaxing and peaceful. It turned into my own special self-care weekend. It exceeded my expectations and was even better than the pictures on the listing. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Ft. Worth.
