The exterior & lobby & hallways are nice to look at. The bedrooms were just ok enough to no regret my stay. The room smelled like the A/C unit needed thorough cleaning. Parking on the week was…interesting. As the small lot was full so you’d need to park across the street at the school which is only 20 -30 feet from the hotel. No biggie. Hotel staff could have been friendlier. Overall it was just ok. I won’t book it again though.

Our stay overall was great, and the breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed taking walks in the quiet neighborhood and sitting outside enjoying the view as if we were on the porch at home. We were not expecting to see the bed support brackets where the footboard would typically go. We were thinking the bed skirt was out for laundry, because they appear in the online photos. We were also not expecting to not be able to watch or connect our phones to the TV. The signal was highly interrupted, and the screen kept going black.

The hotel experience was different but it was good. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. My major complaint is that I was called 2 hours and 30 minutes before check in time to inform me that the swimming pool was not working or available. The person who called said if I decided to cancel my reservation I would not be penalized and I would receive my entire deposit back. Although I appreciated that call and would have been outraged to find that the pool would be closed and unavailable when I arrived, I don’t appreciate that I was informed of this situation practically at the time of arrival. I didn’t have time to search for another Hotel. I booked the hotel room primarily because it was a new facility with a Pool. I had a grandchild with me and this was a feature that we looked forward to doing. I paid full price for the room, no financial compensation was offered or made and this changed the whole aura of our trip. The only reason we didn’t cancel the reservation was because we were called two and a half hours before we arrived.so I must say this lead to a disappointing stay.

The hotel staff was appropriately friendly and the lobby was clean, open, and well lit. My room was comfortable, clean, and everything was in working order. The grab and go breakfast offered choice without being overly complicated.
