"I had a very nice stay at the Courtland. The property is a 100+ year old hotel that has been thoughtfully renovated to retain many of the original features. The couple who own the property are excellent hosts and ready to help with anything you need. The town itself is also full of charm. "

"We picked a good one :) There's a 24/7 diner on the first floor and Lorrie is fantastic as well as the other woman who works nights. I don't have her name but both are so friendly and the food was good. We had breakfast as well as dinner. There is also a mexican restaurant that's only a rock throw away. The cleaning staff was wonderful. We didn't use that service but asked the front desk if they could replenish our towels. They did so and replenished tp as well. :) Front desk staff also very friendly. We definitely will stay here again when we go back to Fort Scott, KS. "
