Didn’t like that the rooms are not cleaned at least once a day or once every two days. Garbage is now emptied and clean towels and linens are not available daily. Customers have to take their own dirty towels and bed sheets to the front office retrieve clean ones and you have to take your own garbage out which is very unsanitary.

When checking in to hotel in the evening 8:45 pm, was advised there elevator was broken and the stairs where the only option for our room on the 4th floor. They never made any communication before check in advising of the situation. Being disabled made it hard to climb up and down the stairs to the 4th floor. When entering the room, the beds only had sheets and no blankets. No one was available at the front desk to get a blanket. It was very noisy in rooms on both sides with people screaming. Caused my child to feel unsafe as the screaming continued Saturday morning as well. This was a very unpleasant stay as I have never had this experience on any stays at other hotels.

I was kind of worried about this place after reading the reviews, but I didn’t encounter anything that I read. Parking was plentiful. The little interaction I had with staff was always pleasant. The room was clean. I was shocked that the rooms had a full fridge, kitchen style sink, overhead microwave and two electric stove tops. I loved that! The bathroom was decent sized. The toilet position was a bit lower than what I’m used to but still comfortable. The bed at first sight did not look comfortable but I was wrong. It felt amazing and helped me relax with my bad back. TV was a good size with a fair selection of regular basic cable channels and some premium movie channels (showtime, etc.) There is no pool on property but there is a lake where you can sit and watch the sunset if you’d like and it’s with-in walking distance of many restaurants. After the lobby closes for the night, you DO NEED your hotel key card to get in as all the doors are locked from the outside in so that’s a security feature I loved. Check out was fast. Check-in was fairly quick too. If you pay with a card there is no deposit but if you pay for your stay with Cash, there is a $100 deposit. That was not stated the Expedia website where I booked my stay. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in this area and need a budget friendly hotel.
