Just a lil disappointing

The venue was nice and clean however it was not what I booked… I booked and spent the amount I did because I needed the Jacuzzi tub in the room… I book with this site all the time and have never not received what I’ve paid for. Expectation was definitely not met. Trip was supposed to be a romantic set up and was basically wasted time from what I had planned

Very much enjoyed the property! Super great to bounce around! Loved all of the entertainment I’d say only downside is how much you can hear through the doors/walls. Plenty of space and the place is maintained well!

Outdated interior furniture, poor service

We were given a room with a veranda and a view of the parking lot. The furniture is from the 70's. The building has two elevators, one was not working the entire two weeks of our stay. From what we heard , the elevator has been out of service since January. The dishwasher in our room would not close properly and would not run. We called for service, never heard back from anyone. We used a Door Stop to engage the dishwasher. We asked for our room to be cleaned after one week, we were told the policy is to clean the room after two weeks. We protested and the room did get cleaned after one week. We would not come back or recommend the Palm Aire resort to anyone.

Palm Air Visit

I would have liked to understand that we were renting a time share when we booked. Only realized this the night before we checked in. Pressure was there as soon as we arrived to sit through a presentation. Was a bit awkward talking to owners in the pool when we mentioned VRBO. Location was excellent. Last thing was that the location had our 3 week stay split into weekly reservations and did not consolidate as we requested as a result they called us at 10 am the end of the first week and we had to pack all our things and move. It was corrected after that incident

2024 Holiday Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Palm Aire Resort. Condo and property were clean and well maintained. The weather was perfect for 12/28-1/4. A nice mix of families and retirees. The sand volleyball, pools, and activity room were a hit for our 11 year old son. We felt very safe at the resort.

Renters beware! They changed things 4 days before arrival!

Prepaid for a 5 night stay. 4 days before arrival I was notified that my booking was no longer available and if I wanted 5 nights I now had to arrive a day earlier. Since the airline was not likely to change the flights we had to modify to 4 nights instead of 5. Then were left packing and unpacking for our final night in town— huge pain since I paid ahead for the booking of 5 nights. The offer to refund one of 5 nights was less than the daily rate I paid for. I was contacted the day prior by the “owner” of the property and told to lie to the front desk staff that I actually knew her so I wouldn’t get pressured to buy into anything. The only awkward part of the check in was another pain in that the 4 nights they did book me was a 1 night stay , followed by a 3 night stay. So now I am cut short a day and will need to move after day one? After the front desk staff worked their magic (they were awesome even though I was told they would be a pain and other reviews said they are difficult) they were able to find a unit we could stay in all four days. Our family getaway to pompano beach was nearly destroyed by a disorganized booking company. They asked me to lie to the folks who run the property and told me that they were the problem when my only issues were with this renter. Beware as they may try to cancel your vacation at the last minute!!

Scam alert!!

I have nothing positive to say about this experience. I don’t know who I’m more upset with…VRBO, Resort Rental Pros or Whyndham. We booked the advertised two bedroom place. Upon check in we were assigned a 1 bedroom and we’re told that the vrbo listings are scams. Beware! RRP began texting us two days prior to our stay telling us not to mention that we booked on VRBO and to use a name of another person upon check in. Shady! Room was off property and unsafe. The whole experience was bait and switch! There were groups at the large pool with loud speakers playing inappropriate music. The hotel staff never followed up with us to help us find a two bedroom to fit our family as we were promised upon booking. This is a time share property so get prepared to be wrangled into sitting through a 90 minute seminar…if you decline you get zero priority. Lobby was dirty and in need of updates. Room was decent minus the 1980’s jacuzzi tub that leaked and the closet doors falling off tracks. Not to mention the sliding glass door that was broken. Won’t be back…I’ll never use VRBO again. Period. Don’t get scammed like we did!
