Esta nueva cabaña contemporánea se encuentra adyacente a nuestra granja de 65 acres y rodeada por más de 800 acres adicionales de bosques. Las actividades están disponibles cerca en Maryland, Somerset, PA y en otras partes de Laurel Highlands. Esta cabaña de Woodland le ofrece la oportunidad de experimentar la vida en los Montes Apalaches en un entorno muy privado. . La cabaña se encuentra a 10 yardas de un arroyo de montaña y al borde de un bosque de 800 acres a través del cual fluyen el río Casselman y el Gran Pasaje Allegheny. Afuera: la gran cubierta cubierta y abierta tiene un área de comedor, parrilla de gas, sillas cómodas, mesa de comedor con sillas y bancos (fin de semana del Día de los Caídos hasta el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo). Hay un anillo de fuego con bancos de madera. Se proporciona leña para una fogata que durará varias horas por cada noche de su estadía. Leña adicional está disponible por una tarifa razonable. Otros dos bancos rústicos se colocan en lugares más apartados para la soledad o discusiones privadas.
Calefacción y aire acondicionado están disponibles durante todo el año, según corresponda. Nuestra parrilla de gas está disponible en la cubierta trasera cubierta desde el fin de semana del Día de los Caídos en mayo hasta el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo en septiembre. - Chimenea de gas (Jodel) en la sala de estar desde el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo en septiembre hasta el fin de semana del Día de la Madre en mayo.

It was a wonderful relaxing stay. We enjoyed biking the GAP Trail and came back to a comfy setting to relax! We enjoyed the fire pit, watched birds from the deck, and used the grill to make steaks. We watched a couple of movies, and slept well. Everything was as described and very clean! Mona and Bryon were kind and responsive eith anything we asked. We hope to return soon!

The home was exactly what we needed! Very calm and relaxing, beautiful location, nicely decorated home. Mona and Baron were very kind and kept in contact making sure we had everything we needed. The home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook. Closest grocery store is 30 minutes away so keep that in mind when visiting. We were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t realize all restaurants and stores were quite a ways away, but that’s the beauty of it also, just need to come prepared. The home has a beautiful stream that runs along the side of the house that we enjoyed listening to as we relaxed on the deck. We will definitely rent this home again! Everything about it was just perfect!

What a lovely little cottage in Fort Hill! My partner and I stayed here for a night on our way back home from visiting family for the holidays and making a stop at Fallingwater, and it was perfect. Very clean, cute, and cozy—and the snow we received the day prior made it all the more charming. We had the best slow morning just watching the birds and snowfall while sipping coffee in our pajamas. We would definitely stay here again if passing through the area. Thanks for sharing this gem with us!

This cottage was perfect for our weekend visit to Fallingwater. It was clean, cute, and comfortable! We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered deck just relaxing and enjoying the nature views. Bonus points to the mugs in the freezer that were perfect for enjoying our IPAs. It was a lovely weekend and would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Thank you!

This cozy cabin in the woods was meticulously, tidy, had so many amenities already provided, and we absolutely loved that the birds flocked to their established feeders. If you are looking for a place of peace and a natural retreat, we recommend this place very very highly.

It was a nice place to stay on the last couple of days of our vacation. We especially liked the back deck and the chance to see lots of wildlife from there. (A variety of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, a young raccoon, and a mother deer and her fawn)

Wonderful

We have stayed at the Woodland Cabin many times, it is our go-to for a weekend away from home. Mona and Bryon are very nice people and see to it that everything is there that you might need. Cabin is always spotless, kitchen is fully equipped plenty of movies to watch, books to read. But sitting on the back deck watching the birds, squirrels etc is our favorite activity. Thank you to Mona and Bryon!

Weekend Getaway

This was our 4th time staying at the cottages at Campbell Farm and as always everything was perfect. The hosts are top notch and very responsive. The location and amenities are perfect for a secluded getaway close to Ohio Pyle and numerous other locations nearby. A as always!

The peace and tranquility of the cabin provided us with a much needed break from our daily lives. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders. Although it rained much of the weekend and was unseasonably cold, we were able to go on a long walk on the trails on the property. With so much to do in the area we plan to visit again.

What a perfect, peaceful weekend!

Where do I start?! What a peaceful and perfect weekend. I would do this 365 days a year if I could. What a great spot, immersed in nature. The first night we had a bonfire- we saw 3 planets and plenty of stars in the night sky. Both mornings were spent bird watching- there are so many!!!! What great placement for the feeders. We loved all of the movies, the kitchen, and just how cozy and peaceful ever second was. Thank you so much. We miss it already!

A well-designed cabin and a great place to stay.

We stayed there to visit Falling Waters. It was conveniently located for this purpose. The stay was highly enjoyable both because of the cabin and the warm hospitality extended by the owners. We would go back to hike or just for a getaway.

We had a please stay at this house off the beaten path. The house is clean and well stocked with nature all around you. The host showed us how to make maple syrup at our request!!! We hope to stay at this house again in the future.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We enjoyed our snowy Thanksgiving in cozy and comfortable Woodland Cottage relaxing and watching the birds. Spent quiet time catching up on The New Yorker and The Smithsonian Magazine. The hosts are friendly, helpful and generous. We look forward to our next visit!
