Location was very nice. Met the gentleman that owned the building. He was very helpful. Had a few issues with the hosting company. With his help they were resolved quickly. Room was very nice and clean. Had an electric fireplace. Didn’t use, but was a nice touch. Had a refrigerator that worked great. Had a small stove & small microwave. Television was nice & the WiFi connection worked well for us during our stay. The owner was awesome! The bed was comfortable & they had a washer and dryer. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property where we stayed. The private balcony was nice for sitting in the evening to wind down with the exception of one evening. You should be aware that the tavern next door has live music in the evenings. We love live music. Each band had a 3 hour set, per the venue’s FB page. The first night the band stopped at 9:00 as expected. The second night the band that didn’t stop until about around 9:30. The third night was scheduled to play from 3:00-6:00. We got back to the room at 6:00 to relax on the deck. It was difficult to enjoy their music, as their lyrics were crude and laced with profanity. They played until 7:00, an hour past their scheduled stop. While this shouldn’t reflect on the property, you should be aware that the Tavern has live music next door. Stage was 40’ from our deck. If you find the crude lyrics offensive, research the bands & plan time away when they play. Some may be offensive and not child friendly.
