The Roebuck has lot of character and offers a different property to the chain boxes. The staff are very good food is good, Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Located close to AA Milnes 100 acre wood the setting for Winnie the Pooh. Excellent value for money and a place i will use again

We felt very welcome, the staff were excellent. The place feels comfortable, warm and homely. Quite dated but for the money the plus's outweigh the minus's. We would definitely stay again!

We had a really pleasant stay here for the night while visiting local attractions. The room was very clean, quiet and well-maintained. Some areas were in the need of updating but still good. We had the dinner, bed and breakfast deal, and everything was delicious. Good value for money, staff that were friendly and welcoming, and plenty of parking available.

Stayed one night as going to a wedding locally the next day. On arrival realised that my Mum’s room was a long walk away, she has some mobility issues. Room was changed straight away to something much closer to everything. Staff at reception, in bar, restaurant & at breakfast all friendly & helpful. Evening meal & breakfast great & good value. Everywhere was really clean. Only downside was room was a little tired re decorating. But it looked like things were happening, as bar & restaurant area all good. If you’re looking in this area would highly recommend.

Greene King's Roebuck satisfactory. For me, a materials recycling facility - as provided in most Travelodge outlets - would have been welcome. Nonetheless East Grinstead remains quite pleasant today still. However, as a 'here today, gone tomorrow' visitor, the first opportunity I had to responsibly dispose of my recyclables was in the Dry Mixed Recycling facility on Leeds station.

Dated decor but comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit small but had shampoo and handwash. Needed more milk and teabags. Could do with a spruce up but other than that I would stay again. Did not partake in breakfast.
