The house accommodations, location and grounds were great for my occasion. I stayed two nights with friends. By mid-day the second day we realized there must be something wrong with the water. All the water from the faucets taste bad and smelled bad. We didn't drink, cook with or bath with the water at the house. Given our short stay I did not reach out to the host while we were there. After our stay I reached out and the host had poor communication through the portal. They also kept trying to get me to move the discussion out of VRBO. My concerns were not acknowledged. It was quite frankly awkward. I do not recommend this location nor this host. Areas for improvement. Verify the filtration system is working properly by taste and smell as well as by a professional. No, the cleaning staff are not professionals. Repair the fridge water dispenser and ice dispenser. Acknowledge that a guest is having/has had a problem. Maintain communication through VRBO for the protection of the host and guest. Hinting and asking to discuss the problem outside of the platform is unprofessional. Peace and love.
