Very happy we booked here! It was such a pleasant place to stay!! Was happily surprised by a few things: The apartment is on the Piazza Carmine where there is a lovely old church Santa Maria del Carmine with the Brancacci Chapel. Also about a half block away and to left of the church steps there is a laundry mat, and just across the street from this a small grocery store, and a few more strides away a family bakery/kitchen where we got sandwiches, pastries and lasagna — lovely generational family business — and delicious! About the apartment itself: so beautiful… rooms for all with comfy beds and 2 nice bathrooms. I hope to stay there again one day!

This property accommodated our family of 7 very nicely. We would stay there again if we returned to Florence. There are a few things people should know in booking this property. The location was very nice but it is a 20-25 minute walk to many of the primary attractions of Florence. Also, the adjacent plaza can get quite noisy on the weekends or holidays as people congregate there. The windows/shutters blocked most of the noise in most of the rooms but there were was a room or two where the noise continued throughout the night. The internet access was okay, not great.
