The perfect Florence apartment!

I will definitely return to Canto degli Scali on my next trip to Florence. Marco was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when I made an error in my reservation date. The property is beautiful. I have stayed in two of the apartments and found them both to be extremely spacious and beautifully appointed. The bedding and linens were so comfortable. I wanted to sleep in each day :-) The location was just perfect, as it is only a block away from all of the shopping and very close to the city center. It was also an ideal location because it was not in the middle of the city, which ensured that it was quiet in the evenings. There is a lovely restaurant directly across from the property where we had many perfect dinners. I could not recommend the property enough!

Marco (the proprietor) Was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The apartment is located in a fantastic location, close walking distance to all the most popular museums, landmarks, and tons of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment had a kitchen and living room area, no washer or dryer, but it was a great apartment. Very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located.

Great location in the middle of all that you need to do in Florence. Everything is walkable from here. Even the train station. Very clean and a nice full kitchen. Even provided a free shopping tote bag that we used on the rest of our trip through Italy.

Property was beautifully designed and decorated. Daily cleaning without asking the front desk. Property is walkable to all major city sights. Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable apartment on a quiet,14th century street just blocks from Ponte Vecchia, shopping, and everything you could want to see and experience in Florence. This place is incredible. It’s a walk up apartment, so you need to climb some steps—and it is absolutely worth it. Best place we have ever stayed. Love.

When we first arrived, my daughter said that the property was “mid”. It is a bit old but it adds to the charm of being in a city like Florence. Aside from that it was perfect for us. Beds were comfy, WiFi worked well, the building was secure, and the air conditioning blasted ice cold air, which was nice in the summer. Cleaning staff was in and out quickly and was on top of everything. The owner, Marco was on site everyday and really took care of us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. “Very Nice” (Borat voice)
