We were happy we picked this hotel for our Florence stay. It is located very close to the train station - about a 10 minute walk - and then we walk everywhere during our stay to explore Florence. This hotel has two separate buildings located across the lane from each other. We stayed in one of the rooms in the 'Dependance' wing. It was extremely spacious, beautiful marble bathroom, very comfortable bed. The room was very clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was 'fine', not the biggest range, but there was enough on offer to sustain us. Breakfast eating area felt a tad dingy. We found a self-service launderette just around the corner on our last day.. too late for us to use, but might be good for you to know.

The central location was great. We walked everywhere, and the proximity to the train station was helpful. The staff was always polite, friendly and kind. The morning breakfast crew was very kind as well.

There were three problems with the room - two were fixed immediately, but the third - flooding of the bathroom every time I took a shower - was not fixed during my 3 night stay. Other than the room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. In easy walking distance from the Duomo and other sights, multiple restaurants nearby, as well as a market selling fresh food, fruit and vegetables.
