We highly recommend this home. The entire house was very clean and accommodated our families well. It was only a couple minutes into Fillmore and an easy drive to Ventura and Camarillo. The kids enjoyed the croquet and pool. The yard was very well maintained and the view was excellent. The host, Shelley, was very responsive and we enjoyed chatting with her before we left

We really enjoyed our stay here while we attended our daughter’s wedding. This house was close to the wedding venue, restaurants and stores even though the rental has a private ranch setting. It was very clean and had lots of room for our family. Everyone loved the pool and large backyard. People in Fillmore were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Shelley was amazing she kept in contact to make sure we knew she was available if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place was beautiful. The yard was huge and well taken care of, the pool was enjoyable and the safety gate around it made me feel secure with having little children there. The house was well-maintained and the host was kind and very helpful. There was really nothing to complain about. I would highly recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time staying in this absolutely stunning home. The house had tons of space for everyone and we loved the Victorian style. The large yard and pool was perfect for all of us to enjoy tons of yard games, BBQ’s by the pool and a desire to never leave the house during our stay! Shelly was absolutely incredible the entire time and was always so quick to answer any questions or concerns! The water pressure and hot water struggled a bit in the master suite but that was the only issue the entire time. We will definitely be making this a yearly trip to stay in this house!! It definitely exceeded our expectations!

Amaaaaaazing Stay!!

100/10. This was the best stay I’ve ever had in a rental. The house is immaculate, feels like a mansion and a cozy cottage at the same time. The yard and pool were so wonderful to enjoy, and Shelley was so kind, so helpful and so hospitable. I hope to come back and stay again sometime!!

Christmas Vacation Family Fun!

From the moment we booked this beautiful home until the day we checked out, Shelly was professional and communicative during the whole process! Our multigenerational family had a wonderful time making memories while cookie decorating, puzzling and enjoying the gorgeous yard! The whole house was so clean and the beds were very comfortable! The family room space was perfect for enjoying time together and the living room was used for piano playing of Christmas carols. Many mornings were enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch enjoying the sun! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Clark and Shelly and will be back to enjoy their home and the town of Fillmore!

Exceeded Our Expectations!!!

I could write 50 things we loved about our stay in this charming and spacious home but to sum up, ‘“ It Was absolutely PERFECT” for our Ladies Retreat! The grounds were immacilate and the house so delightful. I had previously read the reviews about the owners Clark and Shelley and I testify everything said about the is true! They were the BEST!

Best VRBO in the Santa Clara Valley

The house was beautiful and grounds and swimming pool were amazing. The outdoor kitchen made everything easily accessible when we were using the pool or playing games on the giant lawn. Our host was very responsive

I want a lawn like this

Nice place to stay convenient to Fillmore and Santa Paula and easy highway access to Ventura as well. The standout feature was the lawn. It is like Wimbledon. Very large green space. Soft well cut grass that any family with active members will love.

Great property

Such a roomy house. We love the pool, summer kitchen outside, plenty of seating, good laundry machines... A/c works well even in extreme heat, appliances work, linens are clean. Be careful about mosquitoes and ants outside but, I mean, that's summer for you. Always a great place to stay with a big family!

Fantastic

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed!! The hosts were accommodating and so friendly. They even let our grandchildren pick some fresh fruit from their orchard. The house and amenities were perfect. Everything was just as described. There was some road noise however it was vastly offset by everything this place had to offer. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.

Fabulous Stay at Beautiful, Relaxing Venue

What a fabulous stay we had at this beautiful, relaxing and peaceful venue. There was nothing missing - a beautiful location, stunning home, comfy bed, incredibly huge lawn that my dogs never wanted to leave, perfect location for why we were in town, yummy strawberries and oranges at the nearby fruit stand, kind, helpful and responsive host...and I could go on and on and on. One of the best stays we have ever had!

Like staying in a castle!

The house was large enough for nine adults to comfortably stay with plenty of privacy and areas for groups activities. Everything in the house is designed for comfort and relaxing. Shelly is so welcoming and was available to answer any questions. The grounds are immaculate and there are even outdoor games provided. We would love to come again when we gather from all over for a reunion! Thank you Shelly for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Experience for Local Wedding

This was a great place for our group of ten. Nice property next to a tree farm and nearby river. The house is classic with a really great outdoors set up. Loved the pool and played a surprising amount of croquet and footfall toss on the big lawn. For cooking it was well set up looked really good for grilling though we didn't do as much. The best part was the hosts who deserve 5+ stars. As an example they loaned us some welding helmets for the annular eclipse that was happening, dealt with plumbing problem inside a 1/2 hour and we're overall very knowledgeable of the local area which was great. Our wedding was in Moorpark which is 12 miles but over a windy pass. Nothing special by Colorado standards but not a standard trip just FYI. Would lve to stay again someday.

Amazing weekend

This house is so awesome that we didn’t need to go anywhere. It was clean, spacious and has everything you can think of. The pool is great and so is the outdoor kitchen, a/c is a plus in the summer too. The property managers are super kind and want people to enjoy the home and yard. There is so much space inside and out.

Fillmore post Victorian beauty

This is the second time my husband, I and our dogs have stayed at Shelley’s beautiful home in Fillmore! We just love coming here. It’s so tranquil and such a quick drive up from Los Angeles. I feel like we’re in another world on the farm. Our dogs just love to run around outside and swim in the pool and we love how big and private the property is. The house is sparkling clean with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need, including soft comfy towels in the bathrooms, a great movie selection, and all the modern amenities. We love the extra outdoor kitchen, so we can barbecue while hanging outside all day. The views of the mountains, especially in the morning as the fog is lifting, is just beautiful. Nothing better than walking outside with a cup of coffee when it’s still dewy and brisk while staring at all the natural beauty. We just love coming to the Fillmore house and can’t wait to visit again next year! Shelley is truly the kindest and easiest person to deal with. Thank you Shelley for another absolutely beautiful stress free weekend. 5 stars all the way around.
