Value for money.

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach. The reception staff were courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend for travellers on a budget.

Positives: Staff, very polite and helpful. They helped with everything we asked for. Unfortunately, that's all I can say in this section. Negatives: This hotel is old. Exterior looks ok, but the room we stayed, especially our bathroom was terrible. Shower cabinet was filthy, light in the bathroom is so dim, you can barely see anything. Carpet was quite dirty. Despite room description says that each room has safe, that wasn't the case, and we were asked to pay for it extra (and safe is located at the lobby!). Also, our room didn't have actual storage cabinets for our clothing, just a space in wall covered with some curtain and some weird drawers. Breakfast area has air conditioner units, but they're never turned on, so you have your breakfast sweating in August heat. In fact, interior of the hotel building is very hot because ACs are off on all floors. You get in your room and turn on the AC, it takes about 5 minutes before it starts blowing cool air. Breakfast quality was average at best (and terrible coffee). Overall: While I had good experience with staff, I wasn't happy with the room. The price we paid for the room wasn't in line with the quality of it.

Good facilities but night noise an issue

The hotel is in a good location. It has good amenities including a large pool which is welcome when it's hot and busy at the beach. However, the hotel is full of packaged holiday travellers who will drink at the pool bar till 2am and the music keeps playing till then. So if you want a food night's sleep, look elsewhere.

great homely hotel

The staff here were so kind. Felt very much at home Every day a breakfast buffet is provided (included) always plenty of choices no matter your diet needs For 25 lira (about $9) there's a great dinner buffet With wonderful variety Nice swimming pool Predominantly British guests Hotel is 3 blocks from the water - great deal for the price for sure and we were very happy there.. Didn't want to leave

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff

We are a family of 5 who spent 2 nights at the Harman Hotel. The staff members were friendly and helpful. There was a mix-up regarding our reservation for the first night, which was handled skillfully and thoughtfully by the folks at reception. We enjoyed our stay!

I booked this room based on other great reviews that I had read so I was surprised by how dingy and dirty our room was. I am glad that we only stayed one night, was quick to get out of there in the morning.

A place for old couples, mostly English...

The building is not bad, many tour groups for a night or two come daily, other than that retired old couple middle class English. If you are a middle age and/or single then this is not your place, go find some thing else. The breakfast is the same every day with boild eggs, chees, marmalade and tomato and cucumber. The tea is too bad as well as the so called juice, do not bother.

Poor hotel

Having recently stayed here April 2015 I have to say I was very disappointed. Moved two rooms and still no hot water staff were friendly enough however lacked experience in customer services. Informed hotel manager and still service was poor no good advertising an all year facilities if they don't have them. breakfast was lacking in choice and I have to say this was one of the poorest hotels I have ever stayed in bit like faulty towers.

Quiet haven among very touristy place

When entering the hotel you are met with such a welcoming and helpful greeting by staff The staff whether bar reception restaurant were very attentive It was exceptionally clean and had a slightly old worldly charm about it Breakfast buffet plentiful and delicious Plenty of space in the room which was unusual for many Turkish hotels I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Fethyie I ti s also out of the tourist hustle but close enough to walk to beach Fwthye itself was disappointing full of package tour clients and the local businesses had turned themselves into a slice of England to satisfy the clientele and lost the culture of turkey I could actually have been in Torquay in U.K. Hotel and fish market in downtown fethiye best part by far

Smart hotel

Very well looked after hotel. The lady on reception was extremely courteous and had very good English. Room was of a very nice standard and also the bathroom was spotlesslly clean. My only criticism was the breakfast which sometimes consisted of stale sliced bread, one day there were no eggs, and there was never any green salad leaves or fruit. Apart from this, I would rate this hotel very highly.

Good Hotel for a few Nights

This hotel was clean and nice. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. The food was average. They had a great pool area but there was quite a bit of maintenance going on so it was a bit loud. It would be fun in the summer time. I thought the location wasn't great. Not really walking distance to anywhere. It seemed out of the way.

Very nice setting, quiet location.

This hotel is about a 15 min drive from the centre of Fethiye, but there is public transport available a couple of blocks from the hotel. The grounds are very nice with a great pool and plenty of lounge chairs available for sun seekers. The hotel does not have a local map available, which would be very helpful as the main historic site (cave tombs) in Fethiye is a bit difficult to locate. There were other independent travellers at the hotel, but generally the hotel seems to be focused on large groups.

Very clean and spacious

We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who showed a genuine interest in our travels. The room has a spacious bathroom with a large shower. There is also a large pool and a terrace. The breakfast selection was great.

Not for me!

Very loud obnoxious music in bar right outside my window. At 11 pm I asked how late the music would go and the reply was "as long as there are customers in the bar". They allowed us to move to a quiet location. Our adult sons' room did not have functioning A/C so we needed to change that room also. Not enough shaded areas at pool unless you claim your spot very early. We discovered a beautiful beach across the canal but the hotel never mentioned its proximity. Overall, clean and comfortable but if you are looking for a more traditional Turkish hotel keep looking! Too American for us.

Safe bet for easygoing stay

Friendly English speaking staff, with user friendly hotel layout and good facilities for a simple sunbathing chill-out break, buffet breakfast at 8-10am, nice pool with both sun loungers and canopied sunbathing area and canopied central bar and comfortable chairs. This is a well run and well organized friendly hotel, I went solo and was always made to feel welcome, food can be ordered from the bar and the quality was always good, though the range a bit limited, good eateries all within about 750m walking distance by the sea front. Calis beach is shingly and has a strong undertow, though lots of people still swim there and the water is warm though not particularly clear for snorkeling. Fethiye is a short bus ride away, though far better to use the 30min water taxi and enjoy the view. There was also 2 tennis courts outside the hotel, but not part of the hotel, but could be an attraction to some visitors, though if you can play tennis in 37c degree heat then good luck. The hotel had free wireless which was sufficiently fast to be useful, which was a bonus, also the original listing gave the impression that aircon might be extra, it was free during my stay. This is a small friendly and homely hotel, there was no rowdiness during my week stay and the bar seemed to stay open as long as people wanted. Being a few miles from Fethiye made this hotel much better value, staying over near Olu Dinez could cost close to double.

Harman Hotel - Fethiye

The hotel location was near the beach area, which was a plus for me. The staff are quite friendly and service was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. I chose this hotel based on others' reviews, and I was not wrong. Good work, Hotels.com!
