We had a wonderful stay. The pictures online don't do this place justice. The interior is clean, cozy and well maintained. The lawn area was massive -- we played frisbee and cornhole. Amazing view of the lake and plenty of lawn chairs to sit back and enjoy. Great dock and lake access. The owner was on site, staying at the larger home on the property while we were there. She was so friendly and helpful. Thank you!.

Peaceful and beautiful
We had the advantage of a perfect week of weather. We enjoyed canoeing and the calm lake. The camp was very quiet which allowed us to have some artistic time drawing, playing guitar, and taking lots of photos. The loons sang for us and an owl visited on two of the nights. We will be back for sure!

Cabin on the lake
Cabin was nice, neat and comfortable.
Wood stove was not connected to the chimney so we had no heat during the night. Temperature dropped to around 45 degrees at night. The screened in porch needed repairs.
Trash bin was full even after the supposed pick up date. WiFi password did not work, which wasn’t so bad.
Cabana and dock area was nice and clean, there were kayaks and canoes available for use with life vests and all.

Relaxing getaway at Clear Water Lake
This little cabin is a gem. 3 long time friends stayed here for a week. We loved the beautiful old time cabin interior, the grounds, and the shared deck and dock. We kayaked around the lake, swam from the dock/deck, fished (caught a couple of nice smallmouth), used the BBQ, ate inside and on the picnic table, and relaxed on the dock. WIFI and phone service were very sketchy or non-existant. We had to move around the grounds to get a signal, but none of us had any major internet or phone needs during the week, so this was mostly a non issue. Overall, we liked it so much that we hope to be back next year!

The perfect Maine getaway
We had a wonderful week at Overlake Camp. The location is perfect for enjoying the lake and spending time with family. We saw loons, eagles and lots of other wildlife. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The camp is rustic but has everything you need for a relaxing week on the lake.
