Safe and clean stay in a beautiful concept hotel, between SC and NY. Food options were delicious. Room was clean and efficient. Only constructive comment would be adding an air purifier/dehumidifier, room was a little damp.

The hotel staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and kind. My room was turned down for me every night, the room was very clean, and the laundry smells incredible. One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling through the DMV.

We’ve stayed here multiple times. Location is great and staff is always wonderful. We did not get our cookies upon check in. Each morning if we weren’t down early the muffins were gone. Coffee is in the small lobby, not the actual bakery. Found that out after standing in line for 10 minutes in the bakery. Beds are not the most comfortable but sufficient. WiFi was incredibly spotty for work calls. Video froze multiple times in an hour. Had to go to Panera across the street for good wifi. Great place to stay for a couple nights but limited for longer stays imo.

This was our first visit to The Meeting House and it hit all the marks. Beautifully updated, clean, with an amazing and attentive staff. The onsite restaurant Godfrey’s serves an incredible breakfast with world class pastries and superb entrees. The Meeting House will be our go-to property in whenever we’re in the Washington, DC area.

Stayed for two nights. This hotel has the potential to be really great, but it’s just okay. My room smelled of old cigarettes being covered up by an overpowering air freshener. When you flushed the toilet or ran the sink water for too long it started to smell like sulfur. There were still toenail clippings from the last guest on the floor and also found two little worms on the ground in my room. They are also doing construction on the back patio which would have been nice to know about before booking. They also have a restaurant attached that felt overpriced for the food I got.

This is an excellent place to stay! The staff is friendly and top notch. We love the bakery which is attached to the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. They are small so this would not be a great option for children or if you have a lot of luggage. Extremely walkable location with lots of restaurants near by.

Pros: Great comfy bed. Quiet room and the staff super friendly. Fantastic bakery and restaurant. Cons: Complimentary breakfast/coffee wasn't open until 8am. We had to leave much earlier but do want to point out the staff offered to bring us a muffin and coffee prior to our early departure. No coffee maker in the room or check in area. We are big coffee drinkers and need that cup when our feet hit the floor. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Restaurant with cocktails was excellent. Nice quiet location you can walk to plenty of shopping/restaurants/grocery.
