A good place for family time

Beautiful location. Very quiet and clean. A bit disappointed that the property listing had a “game room”, but the 2 games our grandsons were excited about had been removed. There were several things lacking in the kitchen that are usually provided, but we were able to overcome it. I think the fact that the house is for sale may have had something to so with that. That being said, the communication with the property manager was phenomenal. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We had a good time, were able to relax and enjoyed the nights on the deck. We could star gaze in comfort thanks to the outdoor heater and absence of residual light. It has been a long time since we were able to see that many stars. The dining table was big enough for all 7 of us for meals and games. We had a great time.

Great Stay

The house was exactly what we needed to get away from it all for the week. The deck has a great view and we all enjoyed having game night in the basement with the air hockey table and pinball machine.

Great cabin

Very remote and peaceful. I would’ve given this a five star rating if it wasn’t for the road to get there. It was one of the roughest stretches of dirt roads I’ve ever been on, and I have a Ram Rebel off-road four-wheel-drive. Other than that, what a great trip

Absolutely Amazing!

Everything was exactly what they said AND more! Beautiful cabin in the perfect place! Exactly what they said it was. We really enjoyed our stay! Exceptionally clean! Great views! Second Home, the management company, was as amazing as the cabin and location! We loved the beautiful birds that we saw and fed (They were so friendly; I know that we weren't the first! LOL) This cabin would be a perfect place for a small family reunion! Would definitely go back!!

Loved this location, wonderful views from the deck, very spacious, quiet neighborhood. Game room was nice but the pinball (only one arm was working) and slot machine (non-responsive) weren’t functioning properly. The one thing to be aware of is that the sliding barn door that separates the living room from the master bedroom/bathroom has no obvious way to lock it and opens right to the jacuzzi, so walking in on someone bathing is likely. Overall though a great Colorado cabin.

Good property, but very remote

The house is very nice. Know that this elevation is significantly higher than Breck. The house is at 10,600, which my family got a bit of elevation sickness. They are not joking about needing 4wd to get up the driveway when there is snow on the ground. I would not recommend if you are needing internet or streaming tv. Neither were functional.

Very nice cabin

Nice place that is very well kept and very secluded. You do need awd or 4wd to get up the driveway especially in the winter. Overall, very happy with the property, it is what it says.

We had a spectacular time in Colorado! Great location to access hiking and fishing locations

My wife and our 21 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodations met every need from cooking meals, some pin ball / air hockey competitions, late night movies, the hot tub was a popular end of day routine for the ladies, and the most amazing views of the 14K mountains including some star gazing from the patio! We look forward to coming back to this property again and will be making plans for another stay in the future!

Great Stay

I can truly say that the pictures did not due this Cabin justice. It was much better in person. They had so many extra amenities. For example; the cabinet already had seasonings, the tv had a Firestick and was already logged into Netflix, washing powder was already provided, and communication responses from management were friendly and prompt. Make sure you have a vehicle with four wheel drive during the winter season hands down! Great place. Very beautiful!

Our home away from home.

The house was very nice, well kept & clean. The road is gravel as others have mentioned ,we were driving a car, but no problems, we have lived on a gravel road all our lives. We were greeted by a bull moose in the yard ,it just looked at us & kept on eating.

In the mountains

Our family of 5 had a good time while we stayed at the house. The best part was the game room where we played pinball, the slot machine, and air hockey every day. The down side is the internet connection and TV. When we arrived, there was no connection due to malfunctioning equipment (satellite). It took a couple of days before the management company could drop off an alternate connection device, and I was grateful for the effort. However, plan to stay disconnected from the world when staying here since any connection is very limited. I had to log in for a work emergency but it was a failure. Overall, the house is a nice getaway with beautiful surrounding scenery. As in other reviews, the drive to get there is unpaved and rough in spots. We have an SUV and had no issues, but I would not take a sedan on those roads.
