Bellísima Casa Histórica

Es una casa adornada como en los años 20 con un aire histórico muy viejo pero muy limpio y cero olores, cada detalle es cuidado a la perfección, los anfitriones con excelente trato súper divertido y cordial la pasamos increíble. Llegamos tarde al check inn y nos dejaron todas las instrucciones para poder acceder, era de noche y el cuarto amplio y bellamente adornado parecía darnos la bienvenida a otra época, al principio lo dudamos porque los colores las lámparas y el baño ( por Dios ! La tina tiene figuras de patas de oso !!!! ) parecía tenebroso pero por la mañana observando cada detalle era una recámara bella, eso si la cama no súper cómoda pero si súper limpia... lo mejor ! Vino aún en el desayuno, súper personalizado en un comedor original de aquella época... fue simplemente increíble !! PD si te gusta la aventura está es la opción si te gusta el lujo existen otras opciones 😃 para mi esta de 10 !!!

Precioso hotel estilo antiguo

Lo disfrutamo mucho es lugar historico y registrado como tal, cada detalle es un elemento perfecto. Ni hablar de los deliciosos desayunos y la atención de primera. Me sení como en casa.

El mejor lugar en Fairbanks

Increíble! El desayuno es delicioso, la atención y el servicio que los dueños y el personal de apoyo fue magnífico. En todo momento se mostraron muy atentos. La casa es muy bonita y está muy bien cuidada, siempre muy limpia. Nos hicieron sentir como si fuera nuestro hogar. Sin duda alguna recomiendo hospedarse en Alaska Heritage House y nosotros definitivamente volveremos.

This was a great choice for our accommodations. Unlike a typical hotel, the beautifully restored residence and interaction with owners Scott and Jill provided a personal experience that was central to our enjoyment of our trip. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and it was truly enjoyable to be able to chat with Scott and Jill about themselves, the history of the property and the area. Their knowledge of Alaska was extensive and provided an excellent basis for making the most of our first time there. We especially appreciated advice on ways to view the aurora, locations for optimal opportunity and their perspectives on how to approach the experience. Prior to our arrival, Scott reached out via text to provide every bit of information we needed to arrive and access the home easily (make sure to include your phone and email contact data in your reservation information as this advance briefing made it easy for them to anticipate our needs, timing and make sure we had immediate access as while they are located nearby, they are not always in site). Two of our three nights had no other guests in the house so we had the place to ourselves and in the third we enjoyed talking with and sharing experiences with the nice couple who arrived and joined us. Heating was radiant style, so it was comfortable without the blowing of forced air into the room, and all other utilities were fully modernized so the environment was excellent. Top notch all around and highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time staying here and Jill and Scott were fabulous hosts. The house itself is a piece of history - beautifully restored in victorian splendor. We had a grand tour and were able to use the gorgeous lounge. Our room was super comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing! It was different every day and was really delicious. Our lovely hosts provided so many great suggestions for restaurants and fun things to do that it made our trip to Fairbanks so memorable and we loved their company as well as other guests staying. The house is located easy walking distance to downtown and we usually walked to one of the great restaurant options for dinner. We plan to come back in summer to enjoy the porch swing. We will definitely be back in Fairbanks and will definatley try to stay here when we do.

Wonderful place to experience a taste of Fairbanks history! The hosts are warm and welcoming, with great stories about the area and the history of the property. The breakfasts were delicious. Cozy and comfortable rooms. I would recommend this place as a special splurge. Only caveat for me- the shower/bath was also historical and a bit quirky to use comfortably. Overall, highly recommend this special place.

Unique and nicely restored and maintained period home. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Chose your room carefully as lower level does require several narrow stairs. Breakfast had limited offerings but snacks and beverages were readily available.

This is a beautiful old property on the historic registry. It is furnished with antiques and period furniture. Don't expect an elevator. The plumbing is also old style but works fine. The lady that runs the B&B, Jill, is charming and engaging.

The hosts went above & beyond. The assorted specialty breakfast that Jill made every day was so tasty. I stayed in the Garden room and it was cozy. I highly recommend a stay here.

We ended up being the only guests for our entire stay and it was a great experience! We came in November to do an arctic circle tour and, obviously and as expected, there is not much to do in Fairbanks in November. The House had great history and being able to explore it (with the staff's permission) made this historian's stay extremely memorable. Breakfast was prepared for us every morning and it was far and above the best meals we had the entire trip. We loved every single part of this experience.

This review is 5 stars only because we had Margo. Margo is an employee, she doesn’t own this B&B and she may or may not be there when you book it, so I would say this is a review qualifier. Margo was amazing, cooked the best breakfasts, provided all the information we needed, offered to drive us around, she does above and beyond her job at this hotel. She even went to the store to buy us specific dishes for breakfast. Never had that before in any B&B. This is a historic house, almost like a museum, where every room is decorated with antiques and where you can learn a lot about the history of Fairbanks and Alaska just from going from room to room. It is really fascinating. The decor is not modern, the bathrooms are old, but that’s the whole point. There is no TV anywhere in the house, but then again, there wasn’t a TV back in 1916 when this house was built. I would also say that the heating system is amazing. The kitchen is part of the public space here, which is unusual for a B&B, and that’s because no one lives here. It’s fully stocked with snacks and drinks and everything you need. We got special treats for our stay in our room as well, which had a fully functioning kitchen for our own private stay. The piano hasn’t been tuned since the Raegen administration, but did I say the house is full of antiques? Location is perfect, 2 minutes walking distance from downtown Fairbanks. Parking is not an issue unless the place is packed in the summer, but we’re there in September. The

Fantastic residence to stay, the history of the area and the house is worth staying at. Margo is a great host, sharing the history of the house and the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
