The shared bathroom was fine as there was only me and 2 others staying, but if all 6 rooms were occupied with only one bathroom it wouldn’t be great. I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast must be pre‑ordered the night before, so I missed out. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and dinner was passable.
