Communication with the host and the check in process were all very easy. The cabin is about a 10 min drive to downtown Elijay. We loved the location and the cabin itself was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this cabin for a stay in beautiful Elijay.

I traveled from Florida to this location. I would suggest visiting the Apple Orchards that are about 10 minutes away! We went to R & A Orchards, you can pick your apples, tractor ride and you can cut your own fresh flowers. They have different varieties of applies, it was an interesting experience. My family loved picking their own apples and trying apple cider. There is a lot to look into when planning your trip. I didn’t do this but think about this there is a Gold mine (Consolidated Gold mine) an hour away due east and Helen Ga is about an Hour away as well which I have visited last year. On my way back to Florida, we stopped by the Tellus Science Museum which was an amazing experience for my family. I recommend This Cabin stay for those who have kids, the down stairs game room was a highlight for my boys, they loved the arcade which me and my wife played together as well. We played a game of battleship. The Hot tub was nice and relaxing. It was a nice couple days just to get away from Florida. I kinda wished I went around November where it would be colder and get away from the Florida heat. It was about 10 degrees colder in the morning in comparison to the Florida weather in late September . There is a tennis court , pool and an area where you can set on swing near the river which was relaxing. Bring a few tennis rackets and balls if want to utilize the court. I have one complaint, the pool had bolts sticking out of the concrete all around the pool which was dangerous.

Great Cabin

Excellent communication with owner. Cabin was very clean, very comfy, great decor, more games than you can imagine, well stocked with everything down to blankets for use at the fire pit. Owner provided information on all the wineries, hiking trails, restaurants and things to do. So lucky to have found this wonderful dog friendly cabin.

Great Getaway!

Red Maple Cabin was the perfect place to spend a few days. The property was super clean and had many amenities we enjoyed like the hot tub, fire pit, and arcade game! The location was great; close to orchards, the Cartecay river and downtown Ellijay. Dan was easy to communicate with and replied very quickly.

Weekend Mountain Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Red Maple Cabin. It was exactly as described and well-maintained. Very thoughtful touches abound like cozy bathroom rugs, plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, games galore, labeled switches among other amenities. These things may seem trivial but they’re super helpful. It was chilly (and rainy) the weekend we were there making the evenings cozy while cuddled up on the sofa wrapped in blankets! We explored historic downtown Ellijay, local wineries, and hiking….all within a 30-minute drive of the cabin. Communication with the owner was easy, and he was super responsive. Highly recommend for a couple or family and we particularly enjoyed being able to bring our dog.

Absolutely perfect

Dan goes above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need and then some to enjoy your stay at this gorgeous cabin!!! This cabin is so perfect and my fiancee and I throughly enjoyed our stay. We were super excited to have been able to be here while it snowed, which was icing on the cake to an amazing stay. There is so much thought and care that is put into this cabin. Dan was our life saver when our previous cabin rental was cancelled last minute due to the winter storm. I reached out to Dan asking about his property and he was so quick to respond and agree to host us! He kept us updated not only with the notices from the association on the roads but offered lots of things to do if we decided to go out and explore. This was a much needed getaway for us and we couldn’t have asked for and more. We will definitely be coming back again!!!

Coming back to Ellijay

My spouse and I have stayed at this house a few times and always enjoy it. It's a peaceful cabin to hang out and read. It's close to Ellijay and some great hiking. And we love the screened-in porch (where you can often listen and watch as thunderstorms roll through the forest) and the hot tub. We'll be back again for sure.

The cabin was very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for holiday weekend stay. The owner of the property was very attentive, the checkin and checkout was easy. 5 star!!!

Absolutely amazing cabin with phenomenal views. Waking up to wild turkeys in the back yard was amazing. Enjoyed the cold nights relaxing in the hot tub. Then coming inside and having plenty of entertainment to keep us busy. Tons of games and an arcade as well. And plenty of amazing food and shopping close by. Would definitely recommend this cabin. And would love to book it again in the future.

Nice Cabin Getaway

Very nice cabin, all of the little things were provided..dishes, pans, condiments, etc. Rooms were very comfortable. The game room downstairs was nice but a little too chilly to enjoy during our visit. Firepits and hot tub were very relaxing,...providing hottub towels and blankets for the firepits was a nice touch. Great location to Ellijay and wineries. Very responsive host. Definitely would recommend and we will keep this saved for our next mountain visit.
