This house is in a serene setting, with lots of room for our grandkids to play indoors and outside. The cows across the street were a bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds are very comfortable.

We absolutely loved the house and location. The owner was excellent in communicating with us from the inception. We would definitely stay there again. Very relaxing and what we needed to get out of the big city for three days. Neighbors were hospitable and provided southern hospitality when we walked past their houses with our dogs.

We enjoyed our stay in the log house. The house is only two years old and in excellent condition. The owner has put a lot of thought into making sure that this is a comfortable place to make your retreat. I would like to return when I’m in the area sometime soon. Highly recommend recommended. !!!

The six of us were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, comfortable layout and arrangement of furniture, airy feel of the cathedral ceilings, and the ideal location near the Watauga River. We woke to bright morning sun in the living and dining areas and watched the sun set on the spacious porch. We all agreed that we will be back some day.

Great place to stay with some awesome views of the mountains. House owners communicated well and often which was greatly appreciated. The house was very pet friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone staying in the future…

What a beautiful home! My sister and I loved staying here with my dog. The kitchen was well-equipped and the home was incredibly nice and clean in peaceful surroundings. Saved this to stay again in the future!

Great Cabin!

This place is beautiful with a country setting! Beds and furniture are really comfortable! This is definitely a family friendly cabin! Communication with owner was great and in a timely manner! Would definitely stay there again!

Wow! Wonderful stay!

We had such a good long weekend at this cabin. It was a great place to disconnect and relax. The views of the mountains were amazing, and it's so quiet around. The cabin itself was insanely clean. The beds were so comfy, and the porch was huge with some nice rocking chairs to relax on.

My family and I decided to spend New Year’s in Tennessee at the last minute, and finding Brian’s cabin felt like a blessing. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed — the pictures truly don’t do it justice. The cabin is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Every detail made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommended

The house was beautiful and comfortable- exactly as advertised. The location was perfect. I felt we were centrally located for all of our adventures. Brian was easy to communicate with and we appreciated his local recommendations for food and activities. We would honestly love to go back to explore more and have told all of our friends/family about the house.

Tennessee trip

Home was beautiful and easy to get to. I thought it was closer to mountain/river area and was closer to other homes than I anticipated. However was a quiet area and very homey and clean.
