Sub-Standard Property
Please note, due to the July 4th holiday weekend, and the possible lack of availability of another property, we felt it best to stay with the sub-standard property. Time stamped photos of issues are available on request. We reserved this property for 6 guests, needing 4 bedrooms. The property was listed as having 4 bedrooms with the following: 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and double bed pull-outs in living rooms 1 and 2.There was no double bed pullout found in living room 2. Bedroom 4 was furnished with a futon, not the twin bed as shown in the property listing. There were no sheets present for the pull-out beds. Sheets were delivered when reported.The home was semi-clean. Drawers and counters all had signs of bugs. There were bug baits found in the living room, dining room and kitchen areas. All dishes had to be washed prior to use because of the bug evidence. There was silverware for four people – not the six we had reserved for. There is no dishwasher, so we washed dishes by hand, with no dish drain available. Only one kitchen towel was found. Blender did not work. The pots and pans provided are highly degraded, some with broken handles. The microwave had a broken handle. The ice maker did not work. The stove had only 3 working burners.I do not believe this property fits the VRBO standard. I am requesting a 50% refund due to lack of cleanliness and proper amenities.
