This spacious, wide open floor plan with the ocean as a backdrop provides a wonderful gathering place for families or a quiet getaway.
BEACH ACCESS is THREE/FOUR houses away.
Sit on the sofa, dine at the table and see the ocean. Cook in the fully stocked kitchen while viewing the sparkling ocean. Lounge on the outdoor daybed, eat at the outdoor table and chairs or picnic table. Sunbathe in the loungers, rock in the rocking chairs or relax with a book in the adirondack chairs on the upper deck and admire the sparkling salt water with each activity. Watch the sun rise over the ocean from deck off of the master bedroom.
2 king rooms, 1 queen room, 1 room with two singles, room with daybed/trundle. Three full bathrooms. One with a shower only, one with a tub/shower, and the master with a spacious shower

Hurricane / Tropical Storm Policy - In the event Edisto Beach is threatened by a storm that requires the Governor of South Carolina to issue a Mandatory Evacuation, refunds will be issued for nights missed. We will evaluate the circumstances in an emergency situation as our guests safety is of upmost importance.


CANCELLATION POLICY-
If there is a beach closure due to local or state government-hurricane/pandemic, etc.-We offer a complete refund or 100 percent credit for another date suitable for your return. Accentuating circumstances will be reviewed as needed per guest. We will work with our guests on an individual basis should this occur.

RETURN GUESTS: If you are part of the High Seas family and return again within a year of two, please let me know when you book. You will receive a $200. Refund Thanks!!

The house has everything you would need for your trip. So many rooms and spaces out that all of us had our own rooms and privacy. The location was great, just across the street from the beach and a couple houses down. My favorite part was drinking coffee in the morning and watching the ocean. Great house!

We rented High Seas for our annual extended family beach week. We own a 7 bedroom house on the beach nearby so this was the overflow house and worked wonderfully in that capacity. I stayed at High Seas. It was clean and in great shape with lots of thoughtful touches. We definitely hope to stay there again next year!

Perfect vacation week! Large house. Wonderful ocean views. Well stocked home with everything you could possibly need. Picnic supplies. Games and toys. First aid kits, On-site grill. Great outside recreational closet full of many things for outdoor relaxation. Comfy high end bed linens and towels, both beach and bath towels. No need to look any further!

Not only is this house beautiful, it is full of everything you need to have a perfect family vacation. I’ve been bringing my kids and grandkids here for years and none of us would ever want to stay anywhere else. Pack your clothes and food and expect to make some wonderful memories.

Beautiful Sunrise

You can watch the Beautiful Sunrise from one of the decks and take in the ocean breeze for a wonderful start to your day. The property is very clean and has anything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay with the beach just a short walk away.

Off-season Getaway

This is my third time renting, and it is a dream! Views from the well-equipped kitchen take in the ocean sunrise, and its upper deck is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. The upper master bedroom is the best room in the house, but the other four bedrooms easily accommodate both adults and children. The house is an easy walk to restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, grocery store, state park, and the marshlands. I would highly recommend renting, as the listing is highly accurate, and the owner makes check-in a breeze.

Beautiful House, Location, Views

We enjoyed our stay at High Seas. It is an immaculate home. The house is clean, well stocked, decorated lovely, has great sunrise ocean views from the balconies. I loved that the outdoor furniture cushions smelled so fresh washed! You can hear the waves early morning and late night from the balconies. If it's busy season there is a lot of road noise during day. We only had that one day. Same with beach. It wasn't too crowded except the Sunday before Labor Day. Otherwise each morning we'd get a large area of beach to ourselves. I even flew a kite that I found in the owners storage closet. They also have nice bikes a lot of my family used. Toys for kiddos, a nice beach cart, beach chairs, cooler, etc... Everything functioned well. The kitchen was very functional with everything you need. Even a Keurig with supplied coffee! We just added decaf for night. Some of the doors are a little hard to open. Like the door to balcony off bedroom. But we figured it out. Walk to the beach access was three houses down. Very short walk. We enjoyed watching the ghost crabs along the shore at night. I took a reading light with. We didn't light up beach too much. Just in case there were baby turtles hatching. We have never seen any in our 3 visits. This is a small community. Most businesses are very friendly. We had a hard time getting seating at Coots but probably because of Holiday wknd. Getting Ice Cream at 3 Gulls was a highlight of every visit. So many flavors. .

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the High Seas! The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything that you could possibly need. This was our first family vacation with our two new additions ( two grandsons) and it was so relaxing. The house is right across the street from the beach so it was easy to walk back and forth to eat lunch, use the restroom or go lay a tired baby down for his nap. The owner was always super helpful and replied back immediately to any message that I sent. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We had 6 adults and 2 babies and the house still had room for more. We will be returning to the High Seas again.

THE ONE

We’ve been vacationing at Edisto Beach for 16 years with our grandkids. They’re are now 19, 18, 18, and 15. We’ve never stayed at the same house twice because we can’t find the perfect fit. But High Seas might change that. The location is great. The house was very very clean, was ready on time, is nicely decorated and very well equipped. Most importantly, communication with the owner was great. We had one small problem and she had it taken care of within 12 hours. Excellent property. Excellent service.

This is a beautiful house with all kinds of amenities located directly across the Main Street from the beach. Beach access is merely minutes away, which allows you to come inside for lunch real quick rather than having to pack coolers and lug everything to the beach. Would definitely recommend!
