高齢の母親と二人で素泊まりの宿泊です。 古民家なので母が懐かしがるかなと考えていましたが、バリアフリーな生活に慣れているため、しょっちゅう段差につまづいていました。 畳の部屋には椅子がなく、足が弱っているため、一旦座ると立ち上がるのに苦労していました。 手すりなどあれば良いかと思いますが、古民家のため、付けにくいでしょう。 また、照明が全体的に暗めです。部屋が広いのでそう感じたのかも知れません。 夜中にトイレに行く時に持つところがなくて立ち上がりが難しいこと、段差があることなど、高齢者が泊まるには難しい面もあると思いました。 お風呂は、シャワーだけする予定でしたが、浴室内のカビがかなり目立っていたいため、入りませんでした。 夜は冷風機を使わなくても十分に涼しくて、快適に眠れました。 寝具は全般に旅館の布団独特の匂いがしました。これは、気になる人とならない人と別れると思います。 お布団は敷布団1枚なので、ベッドの方には苦痛を感じる人もいるかもしれません。 ピアノがあります。テレビはないです。ラジオもないです（たぶん）。CDのコンポがありました。 蚊取り線香がありました。虫刺されの薬は（ムヒとか）は持って行ったほうが安心です。 チェックアウトの時に、自家製の野菜をもらったのでその晩のキャンプ地で美味しくいただきました。ナスは塩もみして浅漬けにしてとても美味しかったです。 お風呂に入らなかったため、チェックアウト後に温泉へ行きました。 近隣の温泉は数か所ありますが、入ったのは「越前温泉露天風呂日本海」です。車で大体20分ぐらいです。 お風呂だけの施設で、混んでいなくて快適でした。露天風呂からは日本海が見えます。

以前から気になってた古民家に宿泊 古い木造住宅ならではの木の香りが懐かしさを感じた 19世紀に建てられたそうで普通のビジネスホテルや旅館とは違った雰囲気がすごく良かった トイレとシャワーは綺麗 キッチンはやや年季が入ってるが、調理用具･お皿等一通り置いてある 歩いて行ける範囲には飲食店もコンビニもない 4月上旬でも日没後は結構冷えた 夜寝る時には、ランタンか間接照明が欲しいかなと思った

食事がおばあちゃん手作り感満載で最高でした。食事を届けてくれるときのおばあちゃんとの何気ない武生弁での会話も和みました。私はとても良かったと感じたのですが、別の泊り客（グループ）との距離感がシェアハウス並みにとても近いので、その距離感を楽しめる方でないと厳しいかと思います。また、虫もそれなりに家の中にいます。なにもないとコメントされている方もいますが、それが私には最高の癒しでした。

越前海岸から行く場合、ナビだと県道206のルートが出てきますが、運転に自信の無い方や大きい車の人は避けた方が良いかも。道幅が狭いし、細くてグネグネしてます。県道３の方がマシかな。 あと、ホントに周りに何も無いので、食料と飲み物は大量に持って行った方がいいです。近くにコンビニなんてものは全然無いです。少し遠いですが、風呂は漁火まで行った方がいいです。 このホテルのオススメは、古民家の雰囲気は十分に味わえます!人生で初めて見るものが多かったです

スタッフさんの対応はとても親切だったのですが、お盆期間で夜ご飯がいただけなかったのは残念でした。またアメニティ類もないので、色々と不便はありました。最近は古民家に宿泊する際でも、かなり充実した設備が整っていることが多いので、こちらはそういったものがないことを前提に行くことが必要です。
