20’ X 20’ Newly refurbished studio apartment above detached garage for a romantic getaway, 1 child families, Girls’ Weekend or just one person who wants some peace and quiet! Walk down the steps and this view is what you see. Grab a couple of chairs and enjoy the best sunsets in the world! Walking distance to three beaches. Public beach (general admission but free parking if want to drive 1 minute), marina beach (shorter walk but can’t drive there), or closer walk to secluded beach. Short driving distance to some of the best towns to explore on Upper Bay – Chesapeake City (15 minutes), Northeast (.5 hour), Chestertown (.5 hour), Rock Hall ( 45 minutes), Saint Michaels ( I hour). Annapolis is a scenic one hour drive. Check out a different town or two each day! 3 WINERIES ARE 15 MINUTES OR LESS AWAY. Great hiking. Local restaurant in beach for great comfort food or just a drink is walking distance from property. Other restaurants are 15 minutes away. Amenities include: parking for one vehicle, free Wi-Fi, access to outside shower, central air, beach chairs to watch sunsets, towels, sheets, cooler, free bags of ice etc. 2 Night minimum, have to be over 25 years of age, no smoking, no pets. Peaceful rest and relaxation!

Clean and away from all the hustle and bustle, not to mention the views and lovely hosts! Don’t miss out on this if you want a relaxing trip, or if you do want to explore the area there’s plenty of great small towns in the area, also an easy drive to some of the most iconic cities along the Chesapeake Bay.

Betty Ann was so extremely nice throughtout the entire process. And very welcoming. Her place has EVERYTHING you may need. And she had snacks waiting for me when i arrived.the room is extremely clean and comfortane. I stayed 3 peaceful evenings, and i will absolutely be returning. And the sunsets were nothing short of breath taking

Peaceful getaway

Friendly and nice hosts. The room is very clean and decorated in a nautical theme . There are welcoming touches such as snacks and beach chairs and an umbrella . We were given delicious tomatoes from the garden . How kind and thoughtful . Keep in mind access to the room is via a tall staircase . While you have a side view of the water from the window if you Walk about 150 ft you will have a direct beautiful vew of the water This is a place to visit if you are seeking quiet and tranquility

Wonderful room directly off the northern Bay. A very comfortable room with all your needs. I really felt relaxed and enjoyed the stay with access to the local beach and close to many eastern shore towns. I plan to return!

Weekend Getaway

My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet weekend away and found this cute little place and knew it would be perfect! We were not wrong. The place was awesome! Clean, comfortable, and the host are very friendly. The bay is steps away which we enjoyed sitting out each morning drinking our coffee. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and I’m sure if we needed anything BettyAnn would provide it or let us know where to get it. We didn’t get to see a full sunset because we had left for dinner and the other 2 nights it rained but what we did see was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful Property & Wonderful Host

Betty Ann’s property was exactly as described. The personal touches of full ice trays, cooler, a well-stocked kitchen and welcome snacks really show the care and thought Betty Ann takes in her rental. The sunsets are even more gorgeous than described- and literally 20 steps away. We loved our stay so much, we booked our next stay while we were there :) Keep in mind you are above the owners garage, so you make hear their use of it at any time!

Amazing Getaway!

If you live in the DMV and are looking for the perfect nearby getaway that will require minimal planning and stress -- this is your place. You can see the Bay from your bedroom window! You are out of the city lights and can see stars in the sky! There is fresh air! Walking along the bay is a few steps away. Take charcuterie and wine supplies and getaway from it all here! We loved having wine at Broken Spoke. We did not enjoy dinner at Chesapeake Inn -- I would skip that spot if I were you! But try other local favorites in the nearby downtown. Coffee on the Bay makes delicious lattes!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Everyone n the neighborhood were really friendly & answered any questions that we asked about the area. We ate some really good food at restaurants advised to us from the locals. Will probably be going back in the summertime to stay there again.

October Getaway

We had a wonderful week in Earleville. The hosts were fantastic. Shared some tomatoes from their garden with us, gave us recommendations on day trips and were really easy to work with. The weather was incredible. Everyone was very friendly and gave my husband great tips on where to fish and where he could pick up his fishing license. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and we really enjoyed being able to cook a few meals during our stay. It was very well appointed. Worth the trips and the views were wonderful - not just the georgous sunsets.

Weekend Reset

There is so much to do that a weekend just is not long enough. This property is absolutely perfect and the community is so friendly and welcoming. The hospitality that was received is beyond any place we have stayed in the past. They have thought of everything and the cleanliness was amazing. We would not hesitate to stay here again, but it will definitely be for longer. Thank you for the much needed rest, reset and perfect location to adventures!
