Jason’s retreat

The home was well decorated and there was room for everyone. The access to the lake was easy and the equipment provided was great. Jason was wonderful to work with. Fire pit area was very comfortable and fun.

Great place to stay!

Our family had a wonderful week at this home. There was plenty of space for everyone and beautiful views of the lake. Beds were super comfortable and we loved the deck in front of the house. We couldn’t have asked for better communication!

Just as advertised

We had a great stay! Close enough to town for quick trips, but isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. The house was better stocked (paper products, sunscreen and bug spray) than other places that we have rented up north, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that we even had garage access. We had plenty of room for our group of 11, although light sleepers may want to avoid sleeping in the loft. Overall a great experience, and we'd have no reservations about returning!

More than the description

Our family spent two weeks in July at the lake home. It was all we could have asked for, and more. Our questions for Jason, were promptly answered and check-in and check-out procedures clearly explained. The lake is a great size for retreat: small enough for exploring on kayaks and large enough for motor sports. Everyone on the lake was considerate of the neighborhood — fishing boats kept their noise kennel down and the water skiers went out in the mud-day. The kitchen had pretty much all we needed except some specialty items that we brought along. The beds were comfortable, linens plentiful. Little touches were everywhere but the house felt uncluttered and peaceful. Views of the lake were gorgeous right from the deck and living room, and the house was set back a bit in the woods so not imposing from the lake. The only 4 I gave was for location, only because the house is next to an Inn that at times had noisy groups, but it was not a frequent problem. This really was our dream vacation, and we’re glad we spent it at this beautiful, welcoming place!

Unforgettable Family Vacation

this was a great property with a long of space inside and out. Having beds on 3 floors helped to give everyone space. The kitchen was large with a great dining space inside and out that could handle everyone. The outside made the trip with lots of floaties, kayaks and boards for every age. The campfire had clean seating and lots of chairs. There were a few minor issues but Jason was able to quickly help solve the issues. Thanks very much for memorable trip!

Awesome home & host!

This home has such a beautiful & cozy setting and the layout was perfect for our group. All the beds were super comfortable and great quality. Easy access to snowmobile trails! Loved watching the eagles fly over the lake right above us. Jason was so attentive and helpful both before and during our stay. We will definitely return!

Great Family Vacation

We had 2 bigger families and we all fit in the house great! Plenty of room for everyone. The house had everything we needed. Fishing off the dock was perfect for the kids. They caught a fish almost every cast!

the best experience ever

Ill start by saying that I am a very picky person when it comes to my families vacation. We usually only get 1 a year. I literally have not 1 complaint about this cabin. It was gorgeous!. The view is breathtaking. The cabin and the grounds had absolutely everything you will need for your stay. Plenty of available seating for large families inside, on the deck and around the campfire. The kitchen(both of them) are fully stocked with dishes including baby silverware. The beds and comforters are like sleeping on clouds(even had playpen for infants). There are 2 sets of washers and dryers so no need to go home with dirty clothes. They supplied plenty beach towels and swim vests for all sizes. I could go on and on but bottom line is--Me and my family will be booking this cabin again. 5 stars are not enough for this rental. Thank you so much for a great relaxing vacation
