First of all the building is amazing! Steeped in history and much preserved. The staff on reception from the minute you arrive to the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were all very friendly and efficient. The room was large and very comfortable, with lovely toiletries and coffee/tea making facilities. Loved the security to accessing the bedrooms too.

Room was lovely with good amenities, although there was a loud noise, possibly coming from the air con, but it's an old building so we expected it to be a bit querky. Our stay was amazing! We arrived just before midday and reception were very friendly. Janet was very helpful and rang us an hour later saying our rooms were ready which was a brilliant surprise.
