Comfy St Lawrence getaway for Fisher or birdwatcher or for a family vacation

Located at Fraser Point (Pointe Fraser) In Dundee, QC, this Beautiful pine finished (interior) cottage overlooks the St-Lawrence River. backed by the Lake St. Francis National Wildlife Reserve with its great Nature walks. Excellent bass, pike and dory fishing. One of the best bird watching areas in Eastern Canada with a colony of sandhill cranes. Possibility to use boat launch. Have your breakfast on the front deck before heading out for the day by boat, canoe or kayak on the St. Lawrence. See Osprey, eagles, herons, egrets and if you are lucky, you may sight a family of otters.
The cottage is located in a privately owned property of 70 acres that is surrounded by the wildlife Reserve. We do our best to protect the environmental heritage of the property by conserving our trees and avoiding overdevelopment. The 20 acre field on the property is organically farmed - usually seeded with buckwheat. The natural beauty of the surrounding environment as well as its peace and quiet are assets that render it somewhat unique. There are approximately 10 km of nature trails on the Wildlife Reserve which are well maintained and very beautiful. The starting point of one of the trails is less than 1 km from the cottage while those of the other 2 trails are 2 and 4 km away. There is a level 2 charger for electric vehicles on the property and arrangements can be made to access this utility on request. A boat dock is available, should it be required. Deck furniture is supplied as is a gas BBQ.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.

Chalet de la pointe Fraser à Dundee

Site enchanteur adossé à la Réserve Nationale de faune du Lac-Saint-François et qui offre une vue magnifique sur le lac et les milieux humides du parc. Excellent point de départ pour explorer la région en bateau, à pied ou à vélo. Le chalet offre un quai qui permet de se rendre sur le lac Saint-François via un petit canal. Le potentiel d'excursion nautique est très vaste, rive de l'Ontario, de l'état de New York, du Québec ou encore, si votre embarcation le permet, vous pourrez découvrir les marais via une multitude de canaux. La faune est abondante; oiseaux, tortues et autres mammifères sont nombreux. Le chalet offre toutes les commodités et le coin est très tranquille. Je le recommande chaudement à tous les amants de la nature, amateur de plein air et de nautisme qui cherche un coin tranquille pour connecter avec la nature.
