Nice

No one was at the office. We needed bedding for the pullout couch. The Ceiling Fan had A half inch of dust on it. Besides that it was very nice we really enjoyed our stay .

Beautiful setting

Rustic, clean, towels were great; an extra blanket or two in the room would be useful to have rather than having to fetch one. Lovely setting but the weather prevented enjoying it.

New years stay

Beautiful location, grounds well kept. House keeping needs training on how to use a broom.

Museum Trip

Easy booking and check in instructions. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would book here again. Quiet morning with chickens greeting us and our dogs by the river. Geese floating up and down the river by the property along with the sunrise made for beautiful mornings.

Listing not accurate

Our initial impression was positive. After getting settled in we noticed there was a lot of floor dust around the couch, under the couch (saw it tons of debris when pulling out the sleeper) and under the bed. The check in process was great. All the information needed was messaged to me in the VRBO app. The online listing is VERY misleading. This cabin is connected to another rental. This is not a single cabin. There's also no fireplace. This is not 2 bedrooms. It's only 1 queen bed and a sleeper couch all in the same room as the kitchen. There was no sheets available for the sleeper bed, only a queen size fleece blanket. There's also no air conditioning, but there were fans and it was not hot or stuffy, so it was fine. There had to have been THOUSANDS of moths and bugs flying outside right against and around the cabin. My son saw 2 spiders crawl on him from the sofa bed and didn't sleep all night due to that. So 3 of us slept in the queen bed. My husband slept on the sofa bed and said it was awful and the mattress that comes with it was thin. We all know sofa beds suck in general though. The roaming chickens were very friendly and we enjoyed their company. The river and view behind the cabin was beautiful. We did have 2 small/med dogs so it was nice that this place accepts pets. I would say this cabin is over priced and the details associated with this cabin are very misleading. I wanted to like this cabin. I really did try to find the positives!

Shower was dirty. Many, many flying insects in the room. Even with windows open the cabin got very hot and did not cool down enough to sleep until 2 am.
