It was an ok property, but geared more to students or young couples. I found the room way too small. You should also provide or have available general information on amenities in area. Ie .. laundry , pharmacy etc. I required both and had to go on street to ask. Just little things like that makes a hige difference

Nice funky Hotel double bed in rather strange position quite impractical for two people as one would have to climb over the other to get out during the night for example did not like the area a lot of down and outs around - I did not feel safe by myself at night

Room was super small and no place for luggage, bed was surrounded by 3 walls so no option but to climb over partner to leave the bed. Surrounding area was dirty and had to walk far for good restaurants. Plus side it's close to Jamison distillery.

The hotel was wonderful and comfortable. However, it would’ve been nice to know they were intending to conserve water by removing it entirely from toilets. Also would’ve been nice to know that the air conditioning shuts off periodically to conserve energy, even while we were sleeping. Other than that we all had a spectacular experience.

The front reception staff was exceptional! Very helpful, kind and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I accidently left my water bottle at the front, she remembered my room number and returned it! Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast included every morning was a nice touch. There's lots of choices. Bed was firm which I love!!! I recommend The Hendrick Smithfield to anyone coming to Dublin. Such great value and a great location.

We had a great stay. The rooms and lobby are clean and smell nice. Vibrant community of visitors in the lobby bar and courtyard at breakfast and in the evenings for cocktails. Continental breakfast is served daily, entirely on the Honor’s System. The hallway smells musty and shows its age. The bedroom ceiling had black spots (mildew?) and the room was small but it did the job. The street it’s on looks a little dodgy, but we felt very safe and it was EXCEPTIONALLY quiet at night. Would stay here again if I ever return to Dublin.

We both really enjoyed the collection of art on display, made the hotel a unique experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the best nights sleep my boyfriend has had in months. He’d like to know where you buy your duvets and pillows haha! Thank you for a lovely stay

The front desk and bar staff were awesome. It was walking distance to alot of places 1/2hr. My only disappointment was the room was extremely tiny, i ony memtion this as its a newer building so they had the opportunity to make them slightly bigger. 2 people, 2 suitcases could barely fit. That being said the room itself was nicely decorated.
