Casa idílica y única en el lago

Ubicado a 300 metros de Whitegate Village, este establecimiento independiente está situado en un gran jardín a orillas del lago Cregg, un lago pequeño pero tranquilo que es ideal para pescar o simplemente para ver la hermosa puesta de sol cada noche en el lago. El lago es el hogar de cisnes y patos, y a veces temprano en la mañana o en la noche se puede ver una familia de venados en la orilla del agua. El pueblo en sí está a 500 metros, donde encontrará tiendas y el pub y restaurante local.
Lough Derg, el segundo lago más grande de Irlanda, está a solo 3 millas de distancia y es popular tanto para la pesca, la navegación como para los cruceros. Perfect house and setting for an unforgettable holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the nice and comfortable house of Rita. Practically everything was present to enjoy our stay in beautiful Ireland. Also nice to have, was the Half Barrel at walking distance. Nice food and Guiness!

Very nice house and lovely location

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this beautiful location. It was a good starting point for many trips to the west coast. Also the lake view from the main room is absolutely marvellous. We would recommend this house.

Spacious property with great views

Great place to stay. The property is spacious with large garden going down to the lough. The main room is light and airy with comfortable chairs. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed was comfortable.

A nice house at the lake

We really enjoyed staying at this property. And the view of the lake from the living room was always very beautiful. There is a great pub and two shops for all necessities in Whitegate near by. The property is perfect if you want to explore the Lough Derg.

A family reunion

We traveled from the US for a Family Reunion in Tipperary; this location was lovely in County Clare as it was close to many sights we wanted to see. A serene, lake setting, peaceful and quiet with excellent communication with the landlord. We had all ages, and a good time was had by all, the house setting let everyone do their own thing.

Two awesome weeks...Great people, friendly and full of suggestions. Great food, scenery, fun. Excellent location for touring the south of Ireland...ended too soon. House was better than we could have wished for.

The place was beautiful. The lake was so relaxing after our days driving around Ireland. The house was clean and tranquil. Rita was very responsive with questions and Teresa was a big help with the local area. Highly recommended.

Fabulous

No words to express this lovely home, so peaceful. The swans were a delight as were the people in the town. The owner responded every time we had a question. Hope to revisit. Highly recommended.

Perfect holiday home in whitegate

Our 1 week stay at whitegate was amazing. The location of the property is stunning. The house itself had everything we needed, it was like home from home. The house was very clean and very well kept. County Clare and Galway are beautiful areas in ireland and this house is perfectly located to allow you to discover all that the west coast of Ireland has to offer.

Wonderful holiday let

We stayed here with 2 friends and our two collie dogs. A truly lovely house that I can fully recommend for those with dogs or families. Also a lovely area to explore. The Snug in Mountshannon is a lovely place to eat or to collect a takeaway. Half Barrel pub within walking distance sells good food. Portumna Forest Park , about 30 minutes away, a really great place to walk. All in a fabulous holiday

So wonderful and peaceful!

My family and I absolutely loved this rental, and are completely thankful and grateful. Such a beautiful location, and centrally located. The washer and dryer combination is the best I've ever had in my various stays in Europe for the last 20 years! Not kidding! Rita, the host, is so responsive and helpful. Very happy with our stay! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :-)

Lovely location

This is our second time here. Family including 93 yr old dad. Lovely location by Cregg Lake. Lovely views. We went canoeing and fishing! Beds comfortable. Loads of kit for cooking etc. Her family lives next door and cut lawns etc, and are also very helpful in an emergency! Can’t recommend highly enough. Rita, the owner iss also very helpful.

Lovely Rural Ireland

Lovely house on a beautiful lake! The swans on the lake made it super picturesque. The house is a bargain for the number of rooms, bathrooms and living space. Short walk to wonderful dining spot The Half Barrel. Be aware u are in rural Ireland so Galway. Dublin or Limerick are over an hour drive away on what can be teeth clenching roads. Rita the owner is easy to message and responds quickly.

1 week holiday

Rita was the host, really nice person. Property was spacious and had everything you could want.No need to bring anything iron, washing machine, dryer, towels, dishes, pots & pans, wine glasses, everything was here.The tin opener broke, but i bought a new one and left it in the drawer.The back door was awkward to lock, so we used the side door and front door.You will not be disapointed staying here, the view is superb.The two horses enjoyed the apples & carrots we gave them, they kept looking out for us after that.
