The hotel is under construction, the room on the same floor where is construction going on, very noisy , unsafe conditions, lots of ladders, buildings materials on the floor, barely was able to get to elevator

Good Location. Friendly Welcome.

We were in Dortmund for a football match. We stayed in this Mercure the second nigh (the City one for the first night). This Mercure was far better than the City one - it actually has a normal type entrance and reception set up for a start. Not the cheapest hotel, but they obviously knew the football was on. Welcome was friendly and room was fine. Hair dryer was very week. Bath towels are not very big. And the usual question - would i stay there again. The answer is Yes, but I'd check prices elsewhere.

Easy access for town centre

Very small room for 2 travellers for 3 nights, very limited storage, very poor lighting in room, awful view from window!! Free WiFi is a joke unless you pay for faster speeds.

Really well located in the centre of Dortmund, staff extremely helpful and pleasant, breakfast very good. Our room was quite large with a balcony, which was a nice surprise.
